You always have such interesting guests. So much excellent information. No excuses ...my diet needs improvement. Throughout my life I've had healthy eating styles and not so healthy. Healthy is definitely more appreciated by the body, and I am sure.....the mind too. Finding out that my black cherry yogurt is not my friend is disappointing. 😊 I'm afraid the fact that I watched the entire video is a reminder to myself that I know better. Sigh.

Eat. Pray. Love. When we make healthier choices for the gut, we are choosing better health also for the mind. The gut is responsible for 90% of mental well-being. When we are putting "junk" food into the gut with no nutritional value, imagine the effect that pointless junk has on the brain. When we drink alcohol, that fermentation causes blackouts of consciousness, an inability for the brain to create memories from that period of blackout. The toxic chemicals we consume, are also neurotoxins, meaning they are toxic to our entire neurological system. The mental unwellness and instability we suffer in this country are most likely the effect of the high amounts of sugar, aluminum, flouride, pesticides, arsenic (injected into animals to make them grow faster), and addictive chemicals in foods that keep us craving and going back for more.
Consider this; your spirit is your own abandoned inner child, sitting in bathwater full of every chemical on the packaged food labels, pesticides, growth hormones, flouride, heavy metals, nicotine, pain pills, perscription, drugs, alcohol, etc. Picture a literal baby sitting in a bathtub, then you pouring all of those things onto the baby. That is what we do to our Spirit Of Self, we "dump the baby out with the dirty bath water", meaning we abandon our authentic true spirit, by filling our body with dirty/unhealthy choices.
