The fact that Desert Ike is not going below 1 HP is so satisfying, like not even a magic AOE's can defeat him, but lack of defeating harder tanking units like Niohoggr. Just wow, so amazing on how the Desert Ike is so good.
I've spent most of today just expirementing a defense team to tank my base Niohoggr with proper support. Not. Even. Remotely. Close. During a recent Arena Assault run, threw her out against a +10 E!Ike, Fortifcation and everything. Still wasn't close match. I'm mad I won that. I'm literally at my wits end with what to do against her! 🐀💢
@ for my test, Lyn had treachery, triangle support, and hexblade , and she barely dealt any damage. I also tried most other true damage nukes with similar setup, like Niovalnir, Desert Igrene, Fallen Ursula,and even Attuned Miccaiah. The closest we got was 3/4, and since she had Heithrun support, it’s basically doesn’t matter.
The Sigurd matchup is pretty scary since that guy will just eviscerate your backline if he doesn't die on his first jump in. Aside from that he's fine i guess, idk how he fares compared to Winter Alear
Not impressed in the slightest by this Ike, I know this is probably not his best build or setup, but overall, he's not on par with the newest melee nukes of book 8(Eik and Hrvasger) which he should at this point, also he barely makes a dent on the unit most heroes are measured against to right now: Nidhoggr(granted most can't but Ike is a new unit with 2 prf skills so you would think he can win the battle of attrition but he doesn't), this Ike is alright but nothing too impressive. Anyway, it's a pretty good showcase, the only match this showcase missed was a key one against Marni(tbh I don't see Ike winning that one either, especially not without NFU).

I think a refreshed E!Lin with miracle and brave support wim the matchup
