Hand tracking for menu navigation would be cool. If they can somehow integrate both the controller for tracking and hand tracking for navigating everything else
I have one and it is great. In addition the service is good. I foolishly struck a table during a swing and broke the 3d printed cup. The shaft was fine. They sent me a new 3D printed cup no charge.
For better tracking, pick up a quest pro controller, they have their own cameras in them and get for 360 degree tracking. I have the DeadEye v2 hooked up to a quest 3 with a quest pro controller. l love everything about these devices. And a definite game changer. I will definitely be looking at upgrading to this version of controller in the near future..
@@VRLowdown you have to unbind the old controllers with the meta phone app and bind the new ones (right one first for some reason). Plenty of youtube vids on how to do it. They will then probably want to upgrade the software. All take about t 10 mins, and you are good to go. Now you can take that full swing without loosing tracking. You may need to sort out the light levels in the area you play in .
i have the deadeye attachment with the quest 3s. when i take a full swing its always a slice. do the pro controllers resolve this? i know i would have to upgrade to the quest 3 from the 3s
Many thanks. There's something about this game that keeps me coming back pretty much every day. A golf club attachment helps make it more realistic, and improves consistency, but it's still loads of fun to play with a controller.
Note that there are two club lengths available, 21"/53cm, and 28"/71cm. I have the shorter one, and also the previosu model which was 4 finger widths longer. My ceiling is 2.40m high. Both work, and safely so. I am 1.77m tall. I woudl always recommend to get the separate weight ring as well, 75gr, for experimenting. - Shipping to Europe, with customs, is too expensive, almost doubling the price for the club. - Contacted service four times over three different topics, only once got a reaction. Item is very good. Service is not.
I normally use the DriVR Elite in a room with a ceiling height of 220cm. It gives me at least 30cm clearance on all shots. Not sure I'd want to use it in a room with a ceiling much lower than this, as you do swing the club pretty hard, and I'd imagine it could do some damage if you hit the ceiling.
They didn't pay me, but did send me it for free. They had no input in the content of the video. I will admit that it is more difficult to be completely impartial when you receive something for free, but I did my best to give my honest impressions.
Great review. Appreciate the detail you go into. You can tell a lot of thought went into this controller attachement.
Thanks for watching!

Yes, this would be such a welcome addition.

Really good that they sent you a replacement. Seems to be a good company.
I just got mine, I like it a lot
Glad you're pleased with it.
I just got the AMVR golf club and its awesome
I haven't tried this one, but it looks pretty good.
Great review! Going to get it! Subbed!
Thanks for the sub!
Great video. Looking forward to trying my own out!
Thanks, enjoy your new headset!
Ive had Golf+ now for 4 months with my quest 2. Out of nowhere the club is upside down! I can't find any setting to fix it...someone please help!

That's a great idea. I wasn't sure whether it would work with the Quest Pro controllers but great to hear that it does and that performance is good.

Is this an older design because the newest ones controller is so close to the shaft and makes the buttons hard to access.
Have you tried the mini?
Great review! I’m not a golfer by any means but I’m loving Golf+ at the minute. I’d love this but I don’t think I have a suitable space for it!

What kind of room height do you need for this? I have the Pro and love it, but wonder if this would be better

Can you use motion detection on one hand and the controller on the other?
I'm not 100% sure what you mean. Do you mean take your shots with the controller attachment and then use the other controller in menus?
Looks great but no where to use in my house. All the ceilings are too low.
Purchased
Hope you enjoy. So much better than using a controller.

I don't even play Golf+ nor be into golfing but just watching this for entertainment purpose only lol 😅
Yea, if they pay me to review it I will say is the best!

Promo code? Price went up after all these reviews! 😂
Sadly I don't have a promo code right now. I think they sold out so that may be why they put the price up. I'm sure there'll be another discount soon.
That accent...yikes.
Yikes good, or yikes bad, lol. 🤣
