  • I was watching some RUclips videos and saw a challenge on making a vfr flight from 4S9 Mulino to S48 Country Squire and it sounded like a fun challenge. You are not aloud to use a GPS or ForeFlight tracking only a VFR chart. I have my charts on FF but I did not use it after lining out what I wanted to do. I need to practice doing this more as I feel I failed. I did land both times after a go around but would have liked to have done better. Check out this video and my others on here. Why do you fly with such a distorted view in MSFS2020, but in X Plane you use a much narrower field of view?

Microsoft 2020 does not support multi screens, so it is laid out different. I have not spent the time to work over msfs2020 as hopefully in the next few months they will release the multiple screen setup and I can then play around with it.

@@FlightSimJammer ah, ok. Makes sense. Yeah, I have both X Plane and MSFS 2020. I much prefer X Plane on my 5 screens compared to 1 screen on MSFS2020. It just feels like I am looking at the world through a tunnel. Not immersive. I don't forsee MSFS 2020 having multiple view support for quite a long time. The reason being that modern PCs struggle with rendering even 1 screen at decent framerate. I think 3 is impossible on current hardware.

@@ksp1278 very true!!! But one can hope. I like to use msfs2020 to learn my area from the air. I am not the best with just knowing where to go. So the realistic looks of msfs2020 is nice!!!!
