Here’s another 72 year old, tired of “fussy” recipes, too! My new 61 year old husband ( yeah, me!) loves it when I am “creative.” I just hope he never looks at the menus I have saved on my phone - these are great - thanks!
Yep! I think they are just the best! And, I really appreciate that Mandy doesn't force her son to be on camera if he doesn't want to. Love this whole family.
Amen to that! I'm almost 72, and the more simple and easy, the better. One of these biscuits is a full meal for me.Yum! Pam in South Carolina. Happy and Safe New Year to all!!!😊🤗
Pillsbury has canned honey biscuits...split in half into muffin tin, fill bottom with apple or cherry pie filling. Top with rest of biscuit little cinnamon sugar on top. Bake as on can. Just turned 75..love simple easy recipes.
Canned biscuit doughnuts are my weekend go to with my kids. Just slightly flatten the dough, cut a hole with a 2 liter cap, free hand it, etc. Then fry it up and you've got easy, fast, budget friendly doughnuts! A dozen at Kroger costs 7.99 or Dunkin 8.99 & you can make double that for 3 cans of biscuits under $5 PLUS the doughnut holes left from cutting out the center! I put out glazes, frosting, and different toppings to make it a family project so everyone can have what they want while spend time together.
I remember when I first made those biscuit donuts in 1964 at a Girl Scout over night. I went home and made them for my siblings. The can of biscuits was 10 cents back then lol
I remember my mom making them when I was a kid, she'd use a thimble she kept in the kitchen just for that purpose to make the donut hole & roll it in sugar or cinnamon sugar when it came out. Nothing better than a warm donut.
I remember 50some years ago my granny would open a few cans of "whopem" ( you whop them on the counter to open them) biscuits and poke a hole in the center, fry them in a skillet then roll them in powdered sugar! We were walking in tall cotton!
You two are so cute together. In the morning, sometimes I’ll make a quick Cowboy Coffee Cake. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8”x8” glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Put a can of biscuits in, side by side. Melt 1/4 cup of butter. Mix in 1/3 cup of brown sugar, 1/3 cup of chopped nuts (I usually have walnuts), 1/4 cup raisins(optional), and 1 tsp. cinnamon. I pour the melted mixture over the biscuits and bake for 20 minutes. Check at 15 minutes (ovens vary). I use the plain small biscuits. Grands might take a few more minutes. Serve. I’ve also done this with canned cinnamon rolls. After it’s done, I drizzle the frosting packet over it while it’s hot. Delicious. Both recipes look and taste like scratch. I’ll probably throw one together Christmas morning to snack while we open gifts.
For the breakfast biscuit bombs, if you scramble everything together it makes stuffing them extra full easier since everything is already incorporated together ❤
For the dessert, I use canned cinnamon rolls and a can of apple pie filling. I usually add to the apple pie filling with more sugar (1 cup), 2 to 4 tablespoons of apple pie spice, and vanilla. Put the cinnamon rolls in the bottom and put the apple pie spice mix over the top. When done, use the frosting on top from the cinnamon rolls.
I recently saw someone do the canned cinnamon rolls on a waffle iron. When done they drizzled the icing on them. I haven't tried it yet but they looked awesome.
1st time I discovered you and your recipes! Yummy but easy - all 4 biscuit recipes will be tried! I will now have to watch other episodes…thanks for giving me some new things to do other than my “ normal “ cooking. I have a great hubby who loves to eat and is very adaptive to whatever I make. After 53 years of marriage, I still love to cook and he still lives to eat - a perfect combination! We give God the glory for our years together and pray for many more ahead!
Canned bisquits are the BEST!! Try this: separate bisquits into 2 (or 4) layers. Put your fave filling on a layer, then wet your finger and wet the edge all around. Place another layer on top and press the edges together. Paint the top with butter. Bake and enjoy! They don't leak (most of the time! 🤞) so they're good to take along. I love your recipes!!! 🥰
I really enjoy your videos and that you share your home, family, recipe's and Grace the cheese-cat. Last night I made canned biscuits stuffed with shredded cheddar & shredded mozzarella, some heated precooked (kirkland costco) bacon and a bit of browned ground beef. The family LOVED! I thought I made enough to bring to work for lunch today, but it was wiped out, inhaled and annihilated lol!
The meatball sub recipe is the best one so far. I have only made three of your recipes but I love this one so much. I recently found your channel and I am so glad I did. I am really enjoying the the recipes.
Watching your two men gobble down your delicious food is pure joy to see them appreciate what you made. Just a lovely family. Thanks for all these delicious foods! 🎄🌴🙏
I cook dinner nearly 7 days out of the week and just have been lost for meals to fix. FINALLY found your channel and you prepare meals with "common" ingredients!! I adore you channel. I even ordered Auntie Nono's and oh myyyyy. Thank you!!!!

Thank's Mandy for all four recipes . The biscuit an apple pie filling . I would add chopped pecans or walnuts . Have a great evening . You and Family .
My husband loved the breakfast biscuits! They were delicious! The bacon one is definitely better than the one with ham. He said to tell Mandy thank you!
Girl, you chose the perfect recipes using those biscuits. Which is why I love your channel. You choose recipes right down my alley! I wouldn’t have chosen as well as you did. Thanks so much for sharing these recipes with your viewers.
I'm with Steven on warm desserts and cold ice cream! My mom used to make a DELICIOUS homemade blueberry cobbler. It was sooo good with vanilla ice cream.
I love using canned biscuits! So much easier than making them. I have also used them to make “uglies”. Use the grand biscuits, press into a muffin tin - bottom and up the sides (spray first). Then get out your leftovers, chop up, fill the “muffins”, cover with cheese and bake at 375 for 25 to 30 minutes! Easy and quick way to use leftovers!
Oh YES!! I LOVE all of these recipes. So SIMPLE and YUMMY!! I saw your other Biscuit video and they were all HITS too. I also really dig how your husband is your taste tester. Very cool!! You guys are great together. Thanks loads for sharing them with us. Arlene
I made this skillet apple dessert a month ago and it was so good. But tonight I made this recipe with canned cherry pie filling and we loved it even better.

BRILLIANT video Mandy. So inspirational. Excited to try all these ideas... breakfast bombs may be this weekend for house guests... 1/2 with mustard glaze and 1/2 with a sweet honey bun glaze. THANK YOU for the excellent show & tell (and also THX to your taste testers for their forthright reviews)!
I can’t wait to make the first two recipes. I have a recipe for authentic Chicken Cordon Bleu, but it’s time-consuming, so I make it for special occasions only. I’m looking forward to trying your easier recipe!

I watch several "what's for dinner" type RUclips channels but yours is, hands down, my favorite. I adore your family and the fact that your husband and son participate and review just makes your channel so unique. I am sending all of you all of the love that I have in my heart!
I can’t believe I’m just finding this now. I have been cooking for 40 years. These are the best recipes. I’ve seen 100‘s of these recipes online, they all are usually the same or very similar. Your canned biscuit recipes. Are super!!! The chicken cordon bleu looks delicious n the meatball sub, Does too! I’m always making meatballs so I always have some on hand and I also freeze some for emergencies. There’s only one store-bought meatball that I can eat its By RAOS . It’s almost a crime in my family to buy frozen meatballs, being Italian. I have tried many brands A lot of them taste similar. That’s an awesome way to have them. I can’t wait to try it with my meatballs. I too have a cat that always comes to the counter when I’m cooking loves ham and little tidbits but always wants cheese. When I saw the cat in the first video it was like déjà vu. Thank you for posting these videos
I'm really excited to try these recipes. I enjoyed seeing and hearing your family's description and reaction to these recipes. Thanks for sharing them!
I really enjoyed this video . I was raised on biscuits in Florida but have lived in the UK now for 34 years . Here biscuits are cookies, they just don't do or get them here. Recently I have decided enough is enough. I don't want to do without them any more and have perfected a homemade recipe to bake them and these recipes you have demonstrated are just perfect for me to get the biscuit message out to my kids!
Thank you Mandy for these great recipes! I'd have to say apple pie is my favorite especially with extra cinnamon. Hard decision which of these to try first. Enjoy your day 😊
I salute you for all your Simple and Delicious recipes. At times like we are going through, your recipes are great for depressions and don't even seem like it because they are, simple, easy, cost worthy healthy and just plain good. Even a bachelor like me can make them and enjoy your videos and your smile. Thanks for helping get over the depression eating with your recipes.
All these biscuit recipes look so good I’m going to try a few recipes! I’ve been cooking more recipes since I started watching your videos and I’m really enjoying the recipes they are all delicious and my husband approves ty!
I made this and family loved it. Can't wait for grand kids to spend the night. I know they will love it too. It is so quick and easy to make. Thank you!❤❤❤
Oh my goodness gracious…. I am definitely making all of these… yummy in the tummy…. Thank you Mandy for such great recipe videos…. Your the best. 🍁😊🥓🍳🧀🍁
I think it would be interesting to make the same recipes with homemade biscuit dough and other home made ingredients (like the marinara sauce and the apples mixture) and see which was better and how more time it took.
Just had a chance to finish watching and wanted to say -- I really enjoyed this one. All of the recipes were different from anything I'd seen or tried before. Very creative!

Also is anyone else apart of the Steven fan club?! I love him so much and I love the way he looks at Mandy and supports her in every video!
I'm a fan of Steven as well. He seems like he is a great husband. Caring and funny!
They are an adorable couple.
Gracie needs a fan club too. Our motto is "Cheese for everyone!"
I'm 83 and can still appreciate a fine, handsome man when I see one!!! Going to try all 4 of your recipes.
PS, lovely couple?

Your boys are blessed to have someone who enjoys cooking for them. And it touches every mama’s heart when your family appreciates your efforts ☺️
These ideas are great, especially for someone like me, who, at 72 yrs. of age is so done with fussy recipes! Thank you! You’ve got a new subscriber!
We are about the same age. I have loved finally having the time to do the "fussy recipes" I never seemed to have time to make before lol

The skillet apple pie looked awesome. It could also be converted to other pie filling flavors like peach, cherry, blueberry, etc.
I'm going to make the apple/peach skillet pie for desert for Christmas Thanks
U can tell he loves his wife's cooking ❤ what a team.
For the breakfast biscuit bombs, if you scramble everything together it makes stuffing them extra full easier since everything is already incorporated together ❤

I would have to make me some breakfast gravy to pour over top of mine but that's just me. ☺
@@karenmaynard7999 GREAT IDEA
Great tip
@@karenmaynard7999 i love grape jelly on my gravy biscuits oh my what a treat one of these would be
Just made the meatball sub bake, I added mini pepperoni and it was definitely a winner. Next we are doing the apple pie for dessert

I make something very similar, and also add chopped pecans or walnuts, & sometimes shredded coconut.

I watch several "what's for dinner" type RUclips channels but yours is, hands down, my favorite. I adore your family and the fact that your husband and son participate and review just makes your channel so unique. I am sending all of you all of the love that I have in my heart!
These all look so delicious! The apple and breakfast recipes are my fave!
Just made the skillet apple pie biscuits - big hit with the grandkids - served with eggs. Thanks so much for your recipe.
Hi Mandy you should do a cookbook on quick and easy and comfort dinners.
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching!!
You're one of the best channels I have seen that makes such delish meals from a can of biscuit dough.
I think it would be interesting to make the same recipes with homemade biscuit dough and other home made ingredients (like the marinara sauce and the apples mixture) and see which was better and how more time it took.
Nothing more satisfying than cooking for a man who hums as he eats!!! 😉😉😉
Just had a chance to finish watching and wanted to say -- I really enjoyed this one. All of the recipes were different from anything I'd seen or tried before. Very creative!
Glad you enjoyed it! That's what I was hoping for!
