Running Chain Lightning in enchantments skills and or using paragon Static surge (Legendary node) give more mana. Lightning Spear can be used in Enchantments also for extra crackling energy and stuns. Using Ball Lightning in the enchantment slot does not give any additional benefits, that's why in most builds you see it replaced for Chain or Spear.
Imo teleport/chain lightning is the way for nm dungeons and bosses is spear/chain. Since youre in 1 spot for bosses, itll spawn an insane amount of spears and synergizes insane with Conjuration Mastery. And you're already wearing raiment 90% of the time, might aswell tp enchant with it in dungeons for insane clear speed and cc imo

Yeah I noticed too . Totally different. Also wondering why not use elemental at started board. That gives 15% damaged boost plus 25% to rare nodes. It's better than firefeeder at start board . The rest of his board is good though
I feel the problem with having ball lightning as a enchant is that is stationary on the ground. It doesnt get added to the balls orbitting you. And as someone that plays ball lightning sorc... im moving around alot. Having something that just stays in place isnt good for me. So instead i just use firebolt and chain lightning as enchants.
@@Jbravo4real not those from enchantment, those stay on the ground and do basically no damage compared to the many ball lightnings orbiting you. you get way more dmg from chain lightning mana and vuln uptime.
This is my first D4 character. Currently leveling up as chain lightning and just beat the campaign. I am wondering at what point can I comfortably swap to ball lightning? Do I need a minimum CDR, resource gen, mana cost reduction, etc?
@@PlzBelieveIt916thanks. I wish I had swapped sooner. It’s a world of difference from the chain lightning build. overflowing energy works, but esu´s ferocity is just way better. As soon as your gear gets good, ult uptime is not important, because it does very little for you.
I haven't seen anyone addressing this yet, I am running a very similar setup and what confuses me about this specific build is that you are getting cooldown reduction on all abilities every time you dodge. There is no tooltip suggesting this should be the case, I am thinking this is a bug with Metamorphosis interacting with Oculus and pushing the CD for dodge to all abilities because it seems to be anywhere from .8 - 1 sec of CR per dodge.
it is for sure not flickerstep or occulus, because I don´t run any of those and see the same thing. Flickerstep is a bait for this build anyways. Either ghostwalker or esu boots are way better.
@@pultulf2462 flicker with meta dodge is best, actually works way better than esus. The dodge allowing 4 seconds of ult cooldown along side dodge being reset from using ball lightning, you never have to wait 5s to use a dodge.

False, if you are evading through things that are dead you have an issue. Flicker drops your ult CD, it's counterintuitive to kill everything immediately.
