Downed Uber Lilith at lvl 90 thanks. Been tweaking the Ball Lit Sorc, using Maxroll primarily. I tried swapping UnstableCurrents for IceBlades, but wasn't doing enough burst to get to phase 2 until trying this build. Phase 2 is all about bursting her to 75% or less so she skips the blisters and starts the flying sequence. Cake walk after that. I couldn't get her as 100 druid or barb ssn1, but finally this did it! Wooooooooooooooooo!

with the legendary node static surge every cast of chain lightning that you will cast ( 1 chain lightning every 2 ball lightning cast ) will make enemies vuln for 2 sec which is really good also.
Can swap that last board around to get static surge in place of frigid fate imo. Static surge is too good to miss out. But good idea of a paragon board overall. I'm all for dropping heavy crowd controlled based damage increments because they dont apply to bosses and thats where dmg actually counts, not clearing trash mobs and elites. (Not understanding why you would want to boost cold dmg when your primary dmg is lightning, just to make use of one legendary node). Will try a variant of your build :P Cheers and good work overall! (Also, i think you would benefit more from gravitational aspect on amulet.)
@@JerNYCJer i got 8 board also and was able to take both legendary node, also I went and took the added mana node which is very useful. Replace accursed touch with the vampiric power that drop Ultimate by 20%.

Idk the frost nova seems like a waste if you havethe leg nodes correct. Also if chain lite is doing the vuln why have frost nova. That frees up points instea dhe shouldve gone in the ultimate specs towards fiery surge. Then i use 3 in convulsion and skip the movement speed because u get unstoppable with your shields. So i went full icy veils for duration on barriers. Idk frost nova seems like a waste to me theres gotta be something better for more utility. Ill fiddle around. Overall yes very good build.

Do NMD and Vampire harvest as often you can do, I have found the gravitational aspect 4 times a 6 hours round. You will find even more if you have one. Also save the aspects as often you can for better items.
im currently making a ball lightning build myself and i keep seeing people grab stuff for damage to crowd control. my question is other than frost nova where does this build get CC, like does shock lead to stun or slow or something? someone please help with this. Because if there is no CC other than frpst nova wouldnt it be best to put ball lightning on the ammy?
Usually people run this with raiment chest which pulls and stuns, lightning spear also stuns. I'd reccomend lightning spear on your bar over frost nova since it has a shorter cooldown and frees up an aspect slot. You're right tho the best thing to put on the ammy is either accelerating (if you run chain lightning enchant), elementalist or disobedience if you want to be tankier.
you guys are gema thank you, i realized this last night after i slotted in lightning to enchant. By the wau thanks so much for that tip.it worked amazingly well. Also little side tip for anyone bringing this build up. If you take aspect of the ancient flame and take esu's ferocity on the last skill node its a guarantee 50% attack speed at all timemwith that and ravenous and gloves i am pretty much 100% attack speed at all time which makes those shiney disco balls smash like trucks. Granted you giving up vyr's but man does it work well. Highly recommend trying it for bossing and before deep dive NMDs
I use lightning spear and frost nova enchantments. LS stuns when crit and have a luck hit to frost nova everybody around applying freeze... Most of the time all the mobs are freezed or stunned
not too hard I guess but as you level up, get more %armor on gear and I bet 8k will be reachable. I am 65 with 6.1k and I don't do anything special but have %armor on 2 pieces of gear.
They've already come out and said flat out that they're not going to nerf anything during the season. You're supposed to feel really strong in the seasons opposed to eternal due to the huge buffs you get in seasons.
Not realy endgame build, It's my starter build at level 50, litteraly roll on the whole game since level 60, and it just snowball the endgame, with 0 unique item. Just broken build you can evolve again and again, but you can start with just ball lightning orbits.
@@tufbubblz bigger dmg buff, stuns enemies(which applies even more dmg buffs), applies vul to enemies(which also applies even more dmg buffs), restores more mana as well(via vampire pact). So not only is it safer since it is stunning everything, but it also puts out more damage as well.
@@EldenLord84 It's called "Feed the Coven". When you run the proper build, you will spawn a ton of crackling energy on the ground. Picking up the energy conjures lightning spears. Then you can spec LS to stun, vul, restore mana, and increase dmg%x. There is also a passive that grants you 3%(x) dmg for every conjuration you have on the field. So the more LS are in play the more dmg you deal as well.
@@JR-kv6ez I found what seems to be a good LS variation on the Ball Lightning build. You mentioned that you can spec LS to cause vulnerable and increase damage %. How is that? I do not see an LS vulnerable synergy.
Take frost nova off your hot bar and remove fire from enchantment. Put frost nova on enchantment. Your enchantments need to be frost nova and lightning spear goofy. Your welcome
while your version is good , fire arrow gives 10% (x) damage increase from glyph and 21%(x) critical strike damage from skill points which is really good. Chain lightning drops a ton of crackling energy and with the legendary node static surge it makes every enemies vulnerable on every cast. Once you get the chest Raiment of the Infinite which stunned ennemies lightning spear becomes useless. Lightning chain damage output will be far greater since it will cast all the time ( every 2 ball cast ) . I even maxed out chain lightning to plus 9 for additional damage and the vuln.
Gonna be honest , out of all the builds for this build… this one is by far the worst bro like seriously. Paragon is nutty…. You don’t need 8 boards bro you need static and burning and a lot of stuff in those so 4-5 boards is perfect. You also arnt even using raiment and that is 30% of your dmg. Stunned dmg is part of this build. This build is soo strong you don’t need paragon or half Items and it still kills but your missing a ton of dmg and doing way too much defense. Barriers keep you alive and it’s simple To keep them up bro. Honestly redo

If you roll 5% chance to get resource on your offhand you can skip a lot of lucky hit/resource gen/mana cost reduction and still be full mana.

Because of cooldown reduction and resource rolling on offhand you are locked to using 1h and offhand

It seems every time you evade, you get some kind of cooldown. Where is it from?
I think it’s just a visual bug when you equip the Metamorphosis Vampiric Power, I’m not getting increase cooldown when I evade.
Flickerstep boots from Duriel is a unique that would give cool down tho

you can take frost nova enchantment, your lightning spear has a chance to proc nova and freeze enemies

I just carried two buddies against durial ay level 75 with this build. You need some lucky hit from a wand to make it work.
