    So when I arrive and my car is stacked in the middle, the spatula will need to bring out the cars one after the other to get mine out. And let’s not talk about security, accidents, insurance, malfunctions etc. Perhaps it’s all been worked out, but in reality this can be very complicated.

    • @uwehetman2320
      @uwehetman2320 3 года назад +2

      Usually if you park your car at an airport it is no surprise, when you come back. So the system will be hopefully able to sort your car out before you arrive so it will stand in some front row. And accidents? Never were in the situation, that someone ran into your car and drove away? I trust this machine more than humans. It is just following it's program.

    Nice robot.
    At the same time there are two questions coming:
    1) Why it parks cars not according to parking lines?
    2) Why it parks cars in more than 2 lines? Won't it become a problem during giving cars back to customer?

    • @KuK137
      @KuK137 5 лет назад +2

      Why should it bother with lines? They are designed to let you open doors, no one will touch these cars so they can be packed as close as possible...

    • @NikitaLiashenko
      @NikitaLiashenko 5 лет назад

      I think that usage of some lines makes the work of robot quite easier. At least it can make the distance measurement easier.
      I understand that it might be done internally in algorithm and works without any robot vision.
