@@AnsonAlexander thank you for this, i could already type fast without the home row but i decided to learn it anyways, and this was a huge help! now i type 70-90 wpm after 1 month, thanks man
hey Anson I have trouble typing with all ten of my fingers and this is really helpful for me thank so much for this I'm glad that you are helping people who trouble with typing thank you so much.
i'm really grateful for this course, i have to take an exam on march, and the only way I'm allowed to do it is digitaly. Thanks to this course I'll learn rapidly
Sir, I don't know how to say this, but please don't stop making these videos, it is so educational, and I am already typing pretty fast I find it a lot easier than other tutorials .
Hello! Could you, please, answer three questions? 1. Should our 3 fingers stay at the home row, when the index finger is typing 4 and 5, for example, or they can move up with the index finger and return to the home row? 2. Should we look at the keys at the very beginning or on the screen?)3. Do you recommend to type in everyday life with the correct fingers while studying, or we can use index fingers for all letters, as we used to, until we learn blind typing? Thank you!
That's all good, Anson! But, with the Shift keys, in this lesson, we were only told and shown to use Shift keys for key letters. But, with key numbers, we were not told and shown to use Shift keys for key numbers in lesson 2. I just wanted to know if in this lesson, it's the correct time to use Shift keys for key numbers. Also, I'm only just starting to get use to the Shift key using capital letters, since, I was always in the habit using the Caps Lock key. It feels much better using the Shift Key, rather than using the Caps Lock key, for there's more control, thank you!
My eye sight is failing and i want to finally learn to touch type. I need an app for my iPad to say the keys when touched. Any suggestions? I want to be able to turn the “talking keys option on and off quickly. Love your lessons BTW!😊
Thank you very much. I really like the progressive way of learning to type faster however considering I am on lesson 2, how should I type in day-to-day tasks ? Keep struggling with home row technique or typing like I was before ?
anson thanks for the video but I have one doubt that if we have to bring the index finger to g then what about the home key rule, where we have to put or keep over thumb there. i found your video very helpful so I need your help
Great videos Anson. Is it better to start with a laptop keyboard or a regular keyboard? I am having so many issues with my ring fingers inserting keystrokes when they are not supposed to. My laptop keyboard is extremely sensitive. There is nothing in my settings to change the keyboard sensitivity. Thanks
bro i keep trying to type but i have a mouse keypad at the bttom of my computer and whenever i try to use my thumb to space bar, my thumb ends up on the mous pad and ruining everythign >:(
Thanks for the great tutorial but is typing club a good website to practice? Also are you supposed to press the comma and full stop keys with your nails?
I guess it really depends on how long your nails are but if you're typing the right key with the right finger and staying close to the home row, I wouldn't worry about whether you're hitting the keys with your nails or not. In terms of practicing, it isn't one of my favorites but should be helpful if you enjoy the website. You can find my favorite ways to practice here: ruclips.net/video/bI-MBNC35X8/видео.html (they're not all full games, some are practice sites).
Hey so I followed your instructions to type the letter Y 1,000 times. I actually did it like 10,000 times. Now I can’t stop doing it everywhere I go, like when I’m sleeping, driving or wiping my butt and my finger goes through the paper. Help!
I just started typing im following your methods but my friend said go for type writing class that machine only allow us to type only one at a time where did u learn your typing skills sir?
Anson - finally I found someone who presents this info in the most sensible way! Huge thanks!
