Once you get some headphones and recorder and want to try to make contact I'd love to try to make a contact with you! I just got my first contact last week after months of trying with 2 HTs and arrow antenna!
@chip6828 I just got my first contact on a late night pass. Also less busy during weeknights. 3 Comfirmed with LoTW after a week or so more trying. It totally is doable with 2 HTs and an arrow antenna stay after it. It took me months and even took a break trying at one point it was so discouraging. Hearing your call sign come back to you truely is that much more special when it works out in the end!

I try making contacts but its so busy on the east coast.
yea i can imagine that its busy here in the midwest too most of the time
