  • Tuning into low earth orbit satellite SO-50 on 436.795 FM January 10 2014. Using a Baofeng UV-5R radio ($40) and and a Nagoya NA-775 (under 10 dollar) antenna. Sat pass was a max of 71 degrees overhead here in Southwestern Ontario. I didn't do the best of job with tuning in the QSO's but hopefully the video came out okay.
I find it a blast using multiple different types of cheap electronics to tune in to low earth orbit satellites and tonnes of other electronic communications. Just good fun :)

Hi Eric William! Very good video. Do you know Whats the diference between Nagoya NA-775 and NA- 771? Whats the best 771 or 775?
    Thanks!

Hi Jose- No sorry I haven't tried the 771 at all. I can tell you I am super impressed with the 775's. No quality problems and performance is stellar. Cheers

Hey Robert- Heard you loud and clear :) Hoped that adding the calls to the description/tags would let people find themselves. Good to hear you from EN93. Cheers
