I agree and it shouldn’t!! however because the community is mostly Mormons who think polygamy is vile and evil they believe that she is promoting something evil and vile making her not really mother of the year type, even though they can clearly see she’s a wonderful amazing mom!! Besides all those women in there have their own nasty little demons that treat barb like shit. I know it’s a show but always broke my heart. I cried so hard the first time I watched this!

They could have just given the award to one of the other two and confronted her afterwards. This was not discrete at all.
