- HBO webisode. Set 3 years prior to season one, Bill introduces Margene to the clan, a former Home Plus employee who takes a job as the family's babysitter.
"who just wants to be a babysitter??"
"....(squeaky voice) ME?"
Oh, Margene's just adorable! I loved her character so much. She did such a great job.
I love this. It's so clear with reflecting that she's 16 and that Bill's already Shtupping her.
Lmaooooo
Bill was so freaking gross. Looking back, he was evil.
There has been something about Chloe Sevigny that has bothered me from day one. But she is an incredible actress. She is a scream as Nikki.
I would have loved to see this exact situation but for when Barb first meets Nikki and how that all went over!
Probably a lot different considering Barb had cancer 😮.
this is hilarious. I can't believe I never saw this when they first made it. it so puts it all into prespective. lol i'm still laughing.
Nicki was always my fav on BL. She could be a damn animal sometimes. Love it!
My favourite is Margene shes innocent, and gullible. I don't mind Barbara. You can see that Bill still loves her. I loathe Nicky shes manipulate, conniving hateful person.
I always loved this show! The only thing that was weird was how Margene wasn’t really 18 when they thought she was
I love how obvious it is when you reflect on the fact that she's only 16 and that Bill's already shtupping her.
she claimed to be 18 to get the job i think. but who says they are already sleeping together?
ploni almoni it's interesting to realize she probably just took the career aptitude exam that you take in high school and was probably quoting the results when she said "I'm a people person, but I don't respond well to to an office or store setting"
@@chanaberlove8720 I rewatched the show recently, it’s discussed openly that Bill had an affair with Margie before the marriage.
Margenes sweet childlike innocence was such a good contrast to Nikki's "Satan incarnate" personality
right
What's wrong with you? This is gross to value "childlike innocence" in this context... This show looks hard to watch and disturbing as hell.
I really didn't think that Margie was sweet and innocent. She was more of an immature airhead.
She had a upbeat enthusiastic bubbly personality idk why or where the attacks are coming from.
@@kellyvanspybrook4746 or a child.
Very interesting watching this again now that we know Margene was 16 when she joined the family...how the hell did no one suspect?
It also begs the question if him marry an 18-year-old is all that much better morally speaking. I understand the legal distinction is significant in most states. Although I don't know where the age of consent is in Utah it might be 16 or 17 or 18
16 and 18 are close ages it could be she looked 18 to them
He knew
yes and then she became the badass princess Snow White in Once Upon A Time!
So odd to think of Margene as just 'the babysitter', how can you imagine the family without her?
And lol, her spluttering at 3:10. Nikki got her cornered.
the series realy have a great cast..chloe is my fave though..
I couldn't stand her at first! I was that beeoch lol. But she ended up being my favorite, all her shenanigans and sarcastic remarks had me living.😂
I think these episodes were either meant for just flashback scenes, or pilot episodes. They weren't weren't used because they decided to take the first season in a different direction. They wanted to open the show with all of them already married, and a few years already into each marriage. I wish they would've opened it with the first season of how they all became to be married. Or at least use the episodes for flashback purposes,to see how it all began.
even if you never saw this, you could tell he wasn't thinking with the right head when it came to Margene's Annoying self lmaooooo Don knew his freind was being lustful, and we saw how messy she got lmaooooo
@ismokeweed420 They were filmed in 2007.
They're on the Season 2 DVD set & were on HBO's site as promos before Season 3 aired. I guess the Margene character would've only been 15 (almost 16?) in this one? 0_o She looks like her mom, Ginger. Lol
I really wish these had been made into three full episodes! First, an episode of Bill & Barb & kids before they became polygamists, then one on how Nikki came into their family, and, finally, one where Margene's relationship with Bill became what it is.
Hard to believe she was 16. She seemed so grown to be a wife
“Who just wants to be the babysitter ?”
“Me?”
Lol.
Well let’s face it, when I was 16 I would have looked at Bill Paxton as a grandfather!
( Yuck.)
Jennifer Goodwin is great.
I love this show
I loved season one.
Its disgusting how he trains a young girl into this lifestyle
What is disgusting is the fact that people are having girlfriends and boyfriends and the guy is getting the girl pregnant and then run away. That's disgusting. Polygamy is not disgusting and nobody is forcing anyone in polygamy
@@omarfarique6304 No, because it suits quite well to your own background, doesn't it? - reading your name, I mean...
But most people here in the West (except the Mormons) call it disgusting, because women have to share, as men become all double! That's just unfair!
@lockstam I agree, I don't know how he could have married Margene even when he thought she was "of age". She was still very much a kid.
@lockstam it was pretty clear that Bill never fell "in love" with Nicki and Margene the way he did with Barb. Yet, Barb had to have the youth and fertility of these other women constantly rubbed in her face. All of them were cheated in different ways.
@Theresa Geissler JFC talk about a racist comment lol Yikes lady!
Bill Paxton 🤍
So what happens if a wife dies first, does she float around waiting on her husband? And what if the husband does something as sinful as has a beer, dies b4 repenting.....does this mean the whole family looses their 'god-like' status (of cause, under the husband). And if their children take a different road, what then? Also people that in in tribes and have never communicated with anyone else, are they sinful outsiders to never live in heaven!?
It is such nonscence....and being told that's.what faith is, is such a cop out! It is delusional!
Their not mainstream Mormons, but in the show their beliefs are the same as mainstream Mormons other than the Polygamy thing so I'll answer your questions.
1.) When someone dies they go to the Spirit World. Not quite floating around but they are essentially waiting to join their families and friends and waiting for the Resurrection.
2.) Everyone is judged based on their own sins and worthiness. In the Mormon view of God, He is a lot more gracious than judgemental. So it's not as simple as "you didn't repent right before you died so your going to suffer."
3.) If children choose a different path then their are judge on their own choices. As stated before God is more forgiving in the Mormon view than you may find in more Mainstream Christian beliefs.
4.) Mormons believe that everyone will have the opportunity to listen to the Gospel and have the opportunity to accept Heavenly Father's covenants, whether in this life or the next (i.e. the Spirit World).
Hope that answers your questions...9 months later. lol
Yikes!!! She's totally been groomed!
You haven’t watched the show have you?
Lol Na more like she finessed them
Well, I would have been grossed out by Bill Paxton at age 16 ( as would all my friends.)
This is so wierd. I can’t stop laughing.
Shes giving Robyn from Sister Wives vibes
So, Bill is obviously a cheater because he slept with Marge AND Anna before he married them 😮...
@sinistralwing well... she wouldn't be youngest they'd seen get married... so i guess 16 was plenty old (for compound standards at least).
This is not on season 1. I watched all the episodes
This is a mini web series explaining before the show
Lucky lucky Bill.
So good. Lol
This was not in the show.was it. I looked everywhere

Me!
Is big love in the beginning on a dvd?
where do i download this episide from ?
@rwvampgirl1 I'm uploading the other two episodes now, honey.
@crackedbuddha do you know when this was filmed, i mean in what year in our universe, not the big love universe? lol i only ask because ginnifer goodwin is very voluptuous, and in this she is like a twig! its amazing if that is all editing! i think she is the most beautiful woman ever, but not like this, she's too skinny here and her hair is like ahhhh!!!
N has worn wigs andd its in her contracts..her short hair in her Snow White rile was the first time she didnt wear a wig in a role
She was also pregnant a few seasons into once upon a time
