I grew to love this series, after first being introduced to it when I was separated from my wife and living alone in a small isolated New Mexico town. My wife had come to be interested in the storyline and scenery and when she decided to stay with me for a while we found the local library has a few seasons of the show. We eventually got to watch them while cuddled together. She passed away last May so now I watch the same episodes we both watched together. It comforts me a little as I remember fondly of our time together.
I love this show. Martin is great. I watch this every day. I have the hole set. Amazing. I am counting the days till series 10 is available. Love Doc Martin and portwenn
I’m 62 years young and I Love this tv show. It’s not always easy for me to catch the show I don’t have any tv Listings that would tell me what time it comes on the Telly.
I wish that I could afford all of the DVD’S of all of the Doc Martin’s tv shows. The man playing Doc martin he’s truly amazing to me. He acts like he doesn’t like dogs or any animals around him while doing the show. But what he does after show he does love dogs and he does love horses in fact a man is impressing a lot of people out here. I love the show and I love the man plays it now the love I’m talking about is like I love a friendship. Or maybe I should say I really like the man who plays the part of Doc martin on the Doc Martin TV show. Also he’s got some fine looking lady’s Who plays on the Doc martin show. I hope the players keep on making more shows of Doc martin.
I look forward to Doc Martin each week on Thursdays. Even though the show has ended the show plays each week in re-runs so I will co tinge watching. I could watch this fantastic series over and over. You left out the punchline of that last scene - after the Doc has a long, first time kiss with Louisa, he asks her if she has a dental hygiene routine and suggests ruling out a medical condition. The punchline was an outside view of the car where he is unceremoniously ejected onto the road. He proceeds to walk, to be joined by the shaggy dog who seems to love following him around.

We went to Port Isaac just over a week ago while on holiday in Cornwall, it's just as beautiful and picturesque as it's shown in Doc Martin!
