Just picked up 2 weeks of groceries for the 5 of us and it was $320 (over budget by $70). But they had some good deals that we would buy soon, we have an 18th bday in the next 2 weeks, Valentine Day dessert and ofc Super Bowl snacks (Baden must be sooo excited!). So, not too terrible but still soooo expensive! I think you’ve done great with the $100!!
@@montrose6427$2.70 for 500 grams of frozen diced onions vs $3.90 for 1kg of fresh onions...in reality the skin and the ends of the onions don't weigh that much, plus they can be used for making stock, gravy, broth, tea and planting the ends of the onions can grow onions 😊

I love your self discipline with your food budget I just walk into the grocery store blind never know what I want. If I go hungry I buy way too much and if I go in stuffed I don't want to buy anything! LOL endless cycle

I've never heard Jello referred to as jellie. But I guess it is. I make it an add fruit cocktail too the bowls an add the liquid an put in the fridge. I have individual bowls to store it in. Perfect size for a portion. ❤

Life hack...frozen diced onion...means onion is always on hand for a recipe...small or larger amount.
and also you are not throwing away the ends and peel that you have paid for.
