I loved it when I read the manga, enough so I read ahead with the novel and damn do I enjoy it. Mio is adorable, Tomoe is interesting, but Makoto is the reason I enjoy the series as much as I do. He has a hard time loving others because he knew pain all his life due to his weak body that warped his emotions. He feels he's worthless and his backstory showed that he blames his parents for his sickness but everyone in his life has always shown him love, more than he ever felt he deserved. An interesting Main character thrown into a world that is (mostly) against him for the same reason people in the modern world would be, judging him on his looks and questioning his sanity. (and that shows with the episode where Tomoe was horribly injured by a hyuman's selfishness)

I have read the unwanted undead adventurer's light novel and loved. I really hope the adaptation will do it justice, that's the show I amthe most hyped about this season
From what I’ve read of Dr Elise, it’s pretty good. It’s sorta like the tear moon kingdom villainess where the original villainess/antagonist finds herself reborn a third time into the life where she basically got the death she has deserved. The difference is her regret to that life as she’s resolved to change her country’s history with the knowledge she gained from her second life as a doctor. She became a doctor in her life on earth to make up for half the stuff she caused previously that first life. All that should basically get brought up in the first episode and go into how she saves people among other things that happen. It’s got a war in it too just not sure if it’ll be shown though that could be towards the end of the season? Only comparing it to tear moon kingdom because not many villainess like anime have the original one reborn again. Most have a completely different person reborn as them.
I finished "Dr Elise: The royal lady with the lamp". Liked the FL, disliked the ML. and I still don't know what she did that she considered so "sinful" that can be compared to what the ML did. This would be one that I wouldn't mind if they deviated from the manhwa a bit more.
@@martianunlimited Same. I kinda stopped reading after the war arc, cause it was starting to focus more on the (undeserved) romance. I could understand to a degree why the ML fell for Elise, since she changed so much into a more kind and competent person, being desirable; but I never understood why she fell (back) in love with him? She had justifiable reasons for why she didn’t want to marry him/be in a relationship (her unhappy marriage in the first timeline, him having her executed [even though it was never explained why she deserved execution], and that having the responsibility of a queen will be a hindrance to her blossoming medical career); but after him just awkwardly flirting with her and being nicer (and finding out his secret identity without him telling her) is enough to have her running (back) into his arms. (Like, screw her career than, huh? And no, the asspull to make her both a doctor and a queen isn’t cool. You can’t have your cake and eat it. Geez, at least ‘the Emperor and his Female Knight’ handled the ‘hard earned career vs royal marriage’ better.) Sorry, had to rant about this one… 😅
I was already planning on watching Moonlit Fantasy, but having seen the first episode of Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic, I'm genuinely impressed. It has The Great Cleric vibes, but perhaps a more fleshed out world to set it in. "Tales of Wedding Rings" original manga was made by the same team behind the Abandoned Sacred Beasts manga, so if you liked that, you may enjoy their new work.
the instant death isekai description is a bit off. he's not some murder-hobo, he holds himself back from killing (unless someone attacks him first, then he doesnt hesitate). at least thats how he was in the manga, not sure if its the same in the anime
I have truly finished my evolution into Isekai Trash, because i got tears in my eyes watchinging this video. The hype and excitement was just too much. AniNews, you are one of the very best, my dude.
Thanks for doing this again, I am so hyped for solo leveling. This season seems like it has so much s tier potential. That dungeon food looked unreasonably appetising.
I had no idea that chained soldier was being made into an anime. I've read a good bit of the manga because I'm a gentleman and a scholar. Can't wait to see it......
There are 2 isekai that definitely deserve an anime. The first is The Lazy King. That one is about someone who becomes a demon and all he wants to do is sleep so he ends up as the strongest demon king of sloth through surviving a long time and being lazy. The story takes place from multiple people's perspectives and it is not just a power fantasy. I forgot the name of the second one but it is about a cicada that gets isekaied as a dragon. His only goal in life is to get laid. It is a real tearjerker.
Although I am not the biggest Fan of Anime, I must say that the Isekai Genre grew on me. And after watching quite a few Isekai Series, I hope I won't have to wait too long. Especially for my favourite ones, which would be: Campfire cooking in another world with my absurd skill, My Isekai Life, High School prodigies have it easy in another world and a few more.
I didn’t think the Ring King would have gotten a anime. I have the 2 English volumes for Ishura! Let’s go!!! I guess I’m going to be interested in the Tank anime you mentioned near the end.
So far I've been very impressed with 7th Loop and My Instant Death Ability. Fluffy Paradise seems to be exactly what was advertised: nice and calming. Unwanted Undead Adventurer didn't work for me - it might pick up later. The Strongest Tank’s Labyrinth Raids, Tales Of Wedding Rings and The Wrong Way To Use Healing Magic are good enough to keep watching but not so far looking top tier. I'm looking forward to Level 99 Villainess and Gekai Elise because I enjoyed the manga and manhua for those.
The first episode of Level 99 Villainess was better than expected (most of the episode is a superb fakeout before swerving sharply into the set-up for the actual plot) and based on this video I gave Sasaki to Pii-chan a try and that was also quite good, I'm curious to see what they do with it.
@@mickbrown7793 I really liked sasaki and pii chan alot so im definitely watching that as well and 7th loop etc Im just wondering whats ur thoughts on Dr Elise, you should definitely watch the first 3 ep and tell me what you think because I think although abit similar to 7th loop, it has its own unique merits that i completely enjoyed so give that one a shot pls!
@@Fouriersuir I haven't had a chance to watch more than the first episode yet. That seemed a bit more developed than I recalled from the webtoon, which could be a good sign. I look forward to catching up now that I'm a little less busy.
After 2 episodes Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha shows some serious potential, it might be the hidden gem of the season. No a sleeper hit, but certainly underrated right now.
I can't wait for Ragna Crimson to continue and for Tsukimichi S2. I wasn't expecting Ragna Crimson to be that good, but Crimson knows how to carry an anime
Oof, there's surprisingly quite a few that got my interest! Thanks for this video because now I can look forward to a lot of fantasy/Isekai animes that I would've probably skipped over if not for this video
You need to put more respect on the unwanted undead adventure's name!!! That was a really good light novel series!!! Like a monster Isekai but following an undead track. The more he gains experince/ materials the higher form of undead he becomes.
Villainess level 99 is basically Bakarina Cress if she is obsessed with power leveling instead of avoiding death flags. Of course I will watch Tsukimichi and several others mentioned in this list.
You imagine a science-fantasy isekai with the MC being Horatio Nelson? He’s the guy who wrecked Napoleon’s fleet at Trafalgar at the cost of his own life.
read and loved healing magic, first 2 episodes are great :) looking forward to the death skill, just read the manga without knowing it was going to be an anime.
I will most likely watch every single one of them. I am looking forward to Solo leveling, however I know it will be action packed it will not most likely be focused on competition between characters but fighting monsters instead...that might not make me very devoted 😅 I am more looking forward into Kingdom season 5 that you haven't mentioned here as it's not so much of a fantasy
Every season i think "oh good, i only have 3 that look good that ill watch, i can finish up my wait list" then by the end of the season, im watching 80% of the new season and making my list longer. This is a cry for help.
If you're interested in chained soldier, you should honestly just read the manga from what I've seen in the anime trailer the animation quality will not do ot justice the manga is just top notch when it comes to the art, everything is so clean and it just brings up the fighting and the rewards scene up to eleven, the girls looks 10x better too.
Yall. Gurren Lagann for its 15th anniversary is rerunning its two movies. Childhood's End, on September 16th - 17th. The Lights in the Sky are Stars, September 23rd - 24th. Im more excited for that than any releasing this spiring.
I haven't watched Tsukimichi yet since I dropped the novel a few years ago. It got boring halfway since its mostly became politics and lengthy world building without anything interesting happening. Now that it's concluded and this video reminded me of it. I might go back and finish it!
I've read Wrong Way To Use Healing Magic, Lv 99 Villainess, 7th Time Loop, Weakest Tamer, Fluffy Paradise (well manga, not sure of LN) and all are good for one way or another. Solo Leveling I binged and it was fun. Imo, it's not "OMG AMAZING" but it's very good power fantasy battle shounen type fun. I've also read the entire manhwa for Doctor Elise, it's good Shoujo/Otome Isekai.
Can't wait for Hell's Paradise Season 2, I can't get enough of that beautiful Art style, despite a majority of the characters were basically Cannon Fodder the story is gripping.
I'm really pumped for the new season of Blue Exorcist. I've read the manga for both Wrong Way and Level 99 Isekai, so I'm really looking forward to them. I have read some of the light novels for 7th Time Loop, so I'm curious to watch that one as well.
I know a million people have already said it, but I still get a kick out of calling Mashle Harry Squatter: the Boy who Lifts Also, if anyone is curious about Chained Soldier, Gigguk did a whole video about it. If you haven't watched it, you should go check it out. The series looks like it goes turbo hard. I've been thinking about checking out the manga when I get time in my reading schedule.
3:13 I have read the manga and I am looking forward to the anime. I wasn't expecting Rose to have green here though. 3:45 While it won't be one of my favorites I will likely enjoy it. 4:32 I haven't been able to get many chapters for the time loop one but I am really looking forward to the anime. 7:39 It has an interesting premise but cooking anime have never really been my thing. I browsed the manga at my local bookstore but never got into it. 8:21 K Manga got me to read the first chapter but I couldn't really get into it. I looked into the undead manga but I zoned out of it after a while. I also read the tank one for a while too, I think. There were two of them. I got board of Torture Princess fairly quickly.
As someone who read chained soldier (Don't judge i just knew it was the same creators as akame ga kill) there are some decent story beats than just fan service and some action. Quite a few of the characters are really well developed even in the limited chapters they appear in but will have to see what the anime adapts and doesn't adapt in this season.
New season is packed so much. Only second seasons and 3, who carries over from current season are enough to sink many hours. I hope Solo leveling would have good animations, I think I will leave it, until all episodes would air, so I could bindge it. I was so immersed, while reading webtoon I was constantly tired of lack of sleep (a little disappointed it ended at 200 chapters). This was almost the same with the Wrong way of healing, I'm almost caught up to manga and I hope this will be adapted properly too. I just love MC and his teacher dynamic, he seems a little dense as all isekai protagonists, but this trait is what makes it good in my opinion. From perspective of sequels I think Tsukimichi and then Mashle are my choices of focus the most, both comedies tackle something I enjoy. Also I cannot believe it is almost 3 years since Tsukimichi first aired, time flew by so fast. I recently tried to dive into mangas and I'm hooked. I have a question. Do you find any time to watch anime, when there are faster way to consume media by reading? I'm currently so behind with titles I wanted to watch, cause I don't find too much time, cause I'm into reading so much more. How about you?
What are you gonna watch this season?

Thanks for doing this again, I am so hyped for solo leveling. This season seems like it has so much s tier potential. That dungeon food looked unreasonably appetising.
"Solo Leveling" is a must, "The Wrong Way To Use Healing Magic" sounds interesting, "Weakest Tamer" looks cute
YEEEEAAAAAAHHHHH😤😵🔥
FINALY A NEW VIDEOOOOOO🎉🎉
W vid btw🔥🔥
The 7th loop actually was a surprise for me so far. Its only the 1st episode but still
I saw 7th Timeloop Villainess was scheduled for Winter 2024, and thought ‘they should totally release it on January 7th’ **and they did**
I didn't expect Dr. elise to have an adaptation. It's a very fun and good manwha. I hope they'll adapt it good
Dungeon Meshi art style is like rankings of kings, it's more on cooking but the story premise is good and elf girl is kinda funny.
Winter looking like summer season quite barren but looking at spring MY GOD is it STACKED with sequels so many season 3 and more its insane
Thanks for all the sauce. Haven't been keeping up with it as much as i used to but always nice to see the hills before they turn into moutians
I didn’t think the Ring King would have gotten a anime.
I have the 2 English volumes for Ishura! Let’s go!!!
I guess I’m going to be interested in the Tank anime you mentioned near the end.
i am quite happy that you use music from the ori games in the backgrounds
Guggik did it again. Chained soilder getting a review by him, straight to an anime.
tsukimichi is my most awaited one this time, and solo leveling is coming out tomorrow to lets wait and watch
@@mickbrown7793 I really liked sasaki and pii chan alot so im definitely watching that as well and 7th loop etc
Im just wondering whats ur thoughts on Dr Elise, you should definitely watch the first 3 ep and tell me what you think because I think although abit similar to 7th loop, it has its own unique merits that i completely enjoyed so give that one a shot pls!
@@Fouriersuir I haven't had a chance to watch more than the first episode yet. That seemed a bit more developed than I recalled from the webtoon, which could be a good sign. I look forward to catching up now that I'm a little less busy.
Yoo offtopic question
Can you also make a cut content video about the 3rd season of classroom of the elite?
After 2 episodes Nozomanu Fushi no Boukensha shows some serious potential, it might be the hidden gem of the season. No a sleeper hit, but certainly underrated right now.
Mashle makes me think of Zatch Bell. I wonder if that's what it's based off given the limited theme of the individual mages and the face cracks.
I can't wait for Ragna Crimson to continue and for Tsukimichi S2. I wasn't expecting Ragna Crimson to be that good, but Crimson knows how to carry an anime
Interspecies reviewers but with a hot spring? That's the fastest i've ever been sold on an anime
I didn't even know Tales of wedding rings was getting an anime. I've been waiting for a long time
2:28 The OP MC ever, Nothing, no one not even the goods can beat this dude.
The more he gains experince/ materials the higher form of undead he becomes.
interesting that this winter 2024 have so many isekai and fantasy
The Weakest Tamer was sooooo cute I really hope they make more seasons!
I'm super excited about solo leveling! Seems like it's going to be another great year of anime.
Tales of wedding rings is one of the old manga ive read for so long. I hope they do it justice.
Every season i think "oh good, i only have 3 that look good that ill watch, i can finish up my wait list" then by the end of the season, im watching 80% of the new season and making my list longer.
This is a cry for help.
BLUE EXORCIST?!?!? WHAT?!?! I assumed it was one of those great shows that just faded into time!!!! One of my first ever watched animes.... oh yeah!!
I've heard good things about "The Unwanted Undead Adventurer" light novel series. Surprised you would say the anime adaptation looks lack luster.
1:52 spoler
His skill is literally Instant Deading ANYTHING. Even non living things or even fookin conceptual sheets.
Unwanted undead is pretty good actually, I hope it'll be on crunchy.
I don't know why but the unwanted undead adventurer was my favorite this season after solo leveling
Watched ep1 of dungeon meshi last night, it was surprisingly really good
Had no clue that mato seihei no slave was getting an anime... thats gonna be a fun one to watch
Yall. Gurren Lagann for its 15th anniversary is rerunning its two movies.
Childhood's End, on September 16th - 17th.
The Lights in the Sky are Stars, September 23rd - 24th.
Im more excited for that than any releasing this spiring.
"Unlikely duo of tamer and slime"
This is at least the 3rd anime I've seen that involves a tamer mc who primarily uses a slime/slimes.
Solo levelling is a must, but i will watch Dungeon mashi too bc it looks great to relax to.
I'm going to watch every single one... eventually.
I still haven't seen many series from the spring and summer seasons
Chained Soldier came out of left field, I'll def watch that one with SL 👀!
Wow, I didn't know they were animating Doctor Elise, that's a Korean Webtoon, gotta check it out.
I was waiting for this video. Thank you. You're my only way of knowing stuff is coming out because I am lazy.
The unwanted undead was actually a really fun read, although I haven’t caught up yet but I’m a good way in and I’m still having fun with it.
Tbh on the mortal kombat one looked interesting, maybe MAYBE the dungeon cooking one. Rest is eh
omg the wedding ring anime, i remember reading the manga around 10 years ago! xD damn!
I know a million people have already said it, but I still get a kick out of calling Mashle Harry Squatter: the Boy who Lifts
Also, if anyone is curious about Chained Soldier, Gigguk did a whole video about it. If you haven't watched it, you should go check it out. The series looks like it goes turbo hard. I've been thinking about checking out the manga when I get time in my reading schedule.
I'm definitely watching The Witch & The Beast. After reading the manga I can't wait to see it in action
the unwanted undead adventurer manga is pretty good
We are eating sooooo good this season. We will ALL be fat and happy like the Kings of old.
The unwanted undead has a pretty interesting manga
witch and the beast seems really cool the plot and characters just make me wanna watch it so much
As someone who read chained soldier (Don't judge i just knew it was the same creators as akame ga kill) there are some decent story beats than just fan service and some action. Quite a few of the characters are really well developed even in the limited chapters they appear in but will have to see what the anime adapts and doesn't adapt in this season.
I really enjoyed this video. I wish you told us where they were streaming.
