@@EpicTyphlosionTV In other words, you can't not sing along with the entire soundtrack. I know I have to at least listen to the entirety of both versions (SS and Arcade) of the soundtrack twice a month, or I'll fall into the pits of despair known as "Not listening to Daytona USA's ost and having a social life."
I love how there’s a part of the song where 8bit mishears it as “We can't eat” while there is a $5.000.00 charity goal for saving the children at the corner of the stream

From what I understand, the "artificial Tremolo" comes from each syllable Mitsuyoshi sang had to be split up into individual pieces, so the holding of the 'Ah' in Daytona is them having to repeat that sound over and over due to hardware limitations of the time. Could be wrong, though. It's also why the "we can't eat" sections are just gibberish vowel sounds.
The song is purely sample based, even the vocals
that's why I think Mitsuyoshi is not only a very talented musician and singer but a technical wizard too. It was common having very short vocal samples at the time, like "woo yeah" soundbites, but the fact he managed to fit entire, discernible lyric parts into the 3 main Daytona themes show he must have engineered the samples very carefully.
Reminds me of the story of Queen putting out "Love of My Life." Brian May couldn't play the harp so he recorded each note and edited them together to get the sequences.

3:03 has always been my favorite 35 second portion of this song. It always is timed out to play at the final stretch of the last lap on the advanced track. Always felt so good to just nail that final turn smoothly at high speed and just cross the finish line in first place. God I love this game and God I love this song.

I had no clue what this song was and when it started playing I was instantly taken back 20 years ago to the mini-golf arcades I'd go to for my birthday parties as a kid.

The Saturn/PC version sounds like something else, and I say *WAY HEH HEE* in response.
The arcade version was purely sample-based while the Saturn version was prerecorded in studio

It's amazing how good this song is for an arcade game about racing
Me and a group of friends were able to extract the individual samples from this song. Daytona let's go away is devided into 7 samples that loop to make the note longer. The samples go like this. Da, y, to, naaaaaaaa, let's, goa, way. The part where it says we can't eat is just we, da, y, the 2 last ones are from the word Daytona. Really cool how they we're able to put full on lyrix in 1994 just by looping.
The drums elevate this fantastic track to a whole other level
