Restoration German blacksmith vise 65 kg (185 mm jaws) and mounting on the stand

German vices continue to show up and I restore them. This time it is a 65 kg blacksmith vice, 185 mm jaws, clean up with electrolysis and mounting on the stand

electrolysis can cause a (motorcycle) brake disc to break
maybe it weakens cast iron on a small thickness
(as the disc is thin + heat).

That is something I do not know or I have experience with. The electrolysis I am doing (or I did in the past) is just plain steel/wrought iron. I never did electrolysis on cast iron.
