I think it’s time for suicide silence to be on the charismatic voice. I think you only live once is a good song to start with. This band was at the beginning of the deathcore genre
@TheCharismaticVoice Elizabeth, I think and believe that as a professional singer and now in the metal scene you get a lot of recognition for your interest and even for pushing forward research, it would be interesting to get as many interesting artists as possible excited about such studies, investigations and research... hmm, 🤔 how about the now 12-year-old UK metalcore "newcomer" Harper??? She is still at the very beginning of her singing, screaming and growling career, and it will be interesting to see how the anatomy of someone so young changes in the next few years... This wild Harper would be worth a look for you 😉🤘🏽 Greetings from 🇨🇭 🤘🏽 🐻 Link to Harpers new song... ruclips.net/video/AcIug8JtsTQ/видео.htmlsi=3fKpJBll8VB3WtBM
Elizabeth is an angel sent to the metal world. She's going to change the game in the next 5 years with these studies. Helping teachers how to properly teach all these techniques and science behind it.
@PxNxWxGxW doubtful. Even now, a lot of rock/metal fans are rejecting AI created songs. AI might become its own genre but rock/metal is about the people and the live performance.
@@eoghancallaghy2634 Fr. Massive skill. I love her content just nerding out vocals in every genre. Made me want to try and work on my voice as well lol
This is awesome seeing her on your show. This is one of those moments the internet connects our metal community to the other side. Thank You for another great episode. 🤘🏻👀🤘🏻
Chris and Elizabeth, this was a great conversation! OOOH... neuropathways and singing... this makes me think of the Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga documentary/concert where Tony, while suffering strongly from Alzheimer's, could remember and recognize Lady (as he called her) the minute the music started. It was miraculous. The brain and music are both equally magical. Happy Holidays! 🤘🏼
This is so efin rad love to see you both sitting down for an interview. Keep it up Garza you're one of the best in the game. I see quite a few people already trying imitating your style.
The episode we didnt know we needed but am glad it happened. 😊, shes such a sweetheart. And her videos are amazing. Gotta get will ramos on with her. Hes a character and a half. Seems like such a nice guym
Yoooo! So great to see Elizabeth on the podcast, I love her channel and everything she's doing for the metal community. And they're doing the study in my home state YAY!! So much respect and love for her, thanks for having her on. LOVE YOU GARZA!
I have messaged the charismatic voice multiple times to do a analysis on suicide silence. I thought you only live once would be a good song for someone who never heard the music before
If someone had told me four years ago about a charismatic red-headed opera singer playing DnD and Diablo, sitting in a bathtub full of M&Ms, sticking needles down a death metal singer's neck and looking at his larynx while he screams and growls like a Boss Monster at Level 10/10... Honestly, I didn't believe it! Then I found Elizabeths TCV Channel...😎🤘
I learned to scream by trying to match vocalists in songs. I found it easiest to first match low rumbly screams like Alex Terrible or Phil Bozeman, and once i got more comfortable, started trying to imitate vocalists like Will Ramos, Tom Barber, and others like them. The low screams definitely came easier than highs
From the beginning, I didn't think I'd ever.......EVER find the right female/woman. BUT early 2000 it happened, I met my now wife of 24 years and we have 2 kids. Our almost 22 year old son James and almost 24 year old daughter Lily. Yes, I had my girlfriend pregnant within a few weeks of meeting and married 5 months after meeting. But she's been my wife now 24 years, September 2025 will be 25 years!
When was the last time Suicide Silence toured threw Utah? Been waiting forever for ya’ll to come through. You and the boys need to give us another shot.
Funny she's on her way to DisneyLand. The first video of her's I ever saw there was a comment saying she "has the mannerisms of a Disney Princess lol. Hope she dressed up!
Dude Id be interested in Angela Of Arch Enemy (original singer) & Mickeal Akerfeild of Opeth to do the throat science with Elizabeth... 🤘👽🎸 Did Elizabeth ever do anything with Cradle of Filth or Satyricon???
Hey Rate! Angela would be great, but we filled our female spots up pretty quickly. We tried to get Mikael of Opeth, but his label and management never got us confirmation. Danny Filth also turned down the project, and I haven't heard Satyricon yet!
What an Interview😁 honestly on the KIDS part, I feel folks want children to feel grown responsible and such, Me don't see a point to have children i absolutely don't need a child not in this generation especially, my wife has two young adults i am perfectly happy with that.
An interesting thing you talked about whas the thing about being nice and try to get new friends as a woman. Without being missunderstood in intentions. I think the problem isnt you Elisabeth. The problem is that many men are so used to female friends that are so restrictive in how they interact with men. So when a female sudenly is open, warm, and outgoing as you. Its missunderstood by men. Based on how men are used to that so many women are strict and not as warm and outgoing as you. Obviously why the biggest part of womans are not as you is because they dosent want to be missunderstod. So to be on the safe, they want to keep a distance. So its nothing wrong by iether you Elisabeth or other womans or men. You shouldnt need to change youre wonderful personality. The problem is in my opinion, men not used to nice, open, bubbly, female friends. And offcourse cause of that, they get the wrong picture. At the same time a big part of women are either showing interest (partnerwize) or either are not interested at all (and therefore have no gained experince in ONLY friendship with men. And how to aproach that way. Offcourse this is a big and very interesting topic. It isnt really easier when someone is good looking, charming etc. But i guess since everyone knows you are spoken for such things get more easier. But I firmly think its sad. If annyone must change a wonderful personality. Cause they are afraid to be missunderstood in their intentions.
She says death core too much, when Black Metal vocalists are kings... I think for a complete research she must go for entire extreme metal genres and not only "modern ones"
Nah. You're just biased by taste. BUT! You have a point, in that there is cool stuff to discover among the generally untrained. Where talent alone carries the quality. Darroh if FTM for example.
This was such a pleasure and pleasant conversation. Thanks for having me on, Chris!
@@TheCharismaticVoice please do a vocal video of Phil Bozeman pretty please!!!!

AI will change the game. This study is 20 years too late.

We need to get Eddie to be a part of the vocal study. His highs are unmatched fr. Definitely one of the best in the game.
his highs are on the weaker side what are you talking about
Look up Elizabeth Zarhoff singing opera. This woman has some serious pipes.

Great video as always Chris! Have you ever thought about bringing on Loathe for an episode? That would be an awesome episode.
I hope she will continue to do more of her marvelous video breakdowns on brutal death metal vocalists like Mitch and Don Campan .
OMG Elizabeth on the channel🥳

Same man, I’ve been practicing vocals for years and have never been able to figure out those high screams
@ you’ll get em. For me it was just a matter of less compression and less force compared to mids and lows. They dont take much to get goin

Watching this was 1:30:50 well spent. Hello Elizabeth from Castle Rock, WA. (come on Fender, release that Garza sig 7 string!)
I know she’s young, but Harper would be great to study too. In the sense of youth & how young can you start & is it good or bad?

Sick another for the nightshift
Maybe as a suggestion, you could interview Ben Woods. He's a Flamenco-Metal guitarist...
Yesssss
I always studied better with instrumental music. I need 2 things happening at same time to keep my mind focused. Vocals would distract me though.
she should analyze someone like george corpse grinder or chris barnes thats been doing it for really long time
I'd check Austin Dickey and Alex Terrible.
