      @@wolfmuller6737 ".....fight against a real army?" Germany should know about that, Herr Müller. My Father's side of the family emigrated from Germany in 1759. I don't take a great deal of pride that Germany was the instigator in two (2) World Wars in the 20th Century and intentionally subjugation and murdered large groups of civilians. Especially in World War II. Germany did real good not stopping the Allied Invasion of Europe and from not stopping the Russians from invading Berlin. Now, you want to talk about ".....fight against a real army?" Right. Keep telling yourself that, Herr Müller!!!!

    • @Mike-tg7dj
      @Mike-tg7dj 7 лет назад +3

      Chris Dickinson You're 100% right. They' re either going to or coming back from the field. It's battalion strength with HQ company at the end of the end which meant they went on first on to be first off. The rest of the battalion follows with the Bradleys and Abrahm tanks at the end or last on. guessing by the number of tanks this is an armored battalion or it could be a Cavalry Squadron given the number of Bradleys. I didn't count just guessed. I remember doing this when we went to the field packing up our field gear, locking up in our vehicle with our weapons. We would line up for the convoy first on so they could be first off. Once we got to railhead with our tracks on a railcar we would chock off the treads, tie down the vehicle as tight as it would go. From here everything would go in the turret to locked up and the main gun tied down. From there we would go to either a bus or as was usual in those days we would board cars for the long trek to the training areas either Graff or Hohenfels.

    We get Burlington northern trains pulling loads westbound like these in Colorado 7-8 times a year. Some big, some small, they carry it all.

    Trump train ??? These are just normal Military movements that have been going on since the Cold War years of the late 1940s and will go on forever. Will young railfans or people (if liberals leftists) always panic and get "a scared" every time they see military vehicles on trains or the road or jets overhead ??? Just relax and be glad we are taking care of America and you ! SSgt, 24th MEU, Semper Fi

      Prog X TYFYS,,, considering it was filmed and posted the same day it was announced Trump had an armada of Navy warships steaming towards North Korea. Russian nuclear bombers every day since have been invading American airspace over Alaska,,, with Trump's propensity not to telegraph his military moves, One can see the concerns that Americans have that we might be preparing for war are well-founded

      mark starr There are major military installations in Montana, Wyoming and Colorado because there is a lot of open space for military. A train loaded with military equipment is not unheard of in this part of the country and it is not unusual for large military convoys to travel on highways and freeways, especially on I 25. Aircraft in the sky, such as jets and helicopter, are a common occurrence and it is also not unusual to hear and feel weapons being used during training, too.
      I don't think this has anything to do with Trump and North Korea because this convoy definitely took months to prepare and put together, probably starting before Trump was president. In reality, moving this military equipment is probably a test and training operation.

      Elle Riksen I can't argue that point with you you're probably right but there's nothing like a sensational headline I'm 50 years old I've never seen that many tanks on a single train especially after what happened in Syria and what could potentially happen in North Korea

      This article is from a few years ago, but it has some insight why our military installations form convoys.
