Loved hearing some of the history involving the Spanish-American War (which I admittedly know very little about).

We found out the first winter I retired (2018) how rainy Florida could be, Michelle and Jim. We spent the winter down there pretty close by! 🤣🤣Kept checking the Tucson Arizona weather and it always said sunny and 70. Beautiful area though and we loved your tour of Dunedin and meeting your sister, Dawn, Jim. Also enjoyed visiting historic Ft. Desoto and learning some of the history of the Spanish American War. Loved the old time music and it's shame about your windshield! Thanks for bringing us along.

Oh my gosh, yes. I mean, I guess it is a tropical state. We are going to try Arizona next year. Have you wintered there? If so, do you have any recommendations? - Michelle

Oh my!! We have lived in Florida for 30 years and have never been to Fort Desoto! We love trains… neat finds there! By the way weather was weird! Winter is usually a dry season in Florida!! ~Brad and Diana

A lot of people like it, we were not enamored with it. To many raccoons for my liking! We heard the weather was rainy and cold everywhere this last winter. Hopefully next year will be better! :) Michelle

I'm not normally of fan of RV gadgets but that Level Mate looks pretty cool especially when paired with the curvy levelers. BTW, we assume the culinary review of the canned haggis ended up on the cutting room floor...

We really like how easy the Level Mate and the curvy levelers make parking. Uh, yes. Haggis does not sound appetizing, let alone out of a can! LOL! :) -Michelle

Looks like you're enjoying your travels. Duneden looks an interesting place, Haggis is something that sounds terrible but isn't too bad - most of it these days doesn't involve a sheep's stomach thankfully. Great shots of the local birds and a dolphin at the end.

I would like to try Haggis someday, but probably not out of a can. LOL! We were so excited that the dolphin made an appearance while we had the camera on! :)- Michelle

We are a little north of you. We got 3 straight days and nights! I’m solar-powered. I need sunshine! 😂
Dunedin used to be our homebase. Hope you hit Olde Bay Cafe! Their fish tacos are my favorite! - Angela

Fun! We were in Dunedin in December. Thanks for the restaurant recommendation Angela. If we get back there we will check it out.
I hear you! We have been surprised at how little sunshine we have had in Florida. It is still better than shoveling snow! :) -Michelle

Great video guys! We haven’t been to Dunedin and enjoyed your tour! Looks like you were in your element, Michelle, in the bookstore! Great tip on releasing a bit of grey water first before dumping the black tank, Jim! Fort Desoto looks like a nice park!!

Thank you! Dunedin had a great vibe, and I soooo wanted to go up that ladder! Glad you enjoyed the tip about the grey water. Fort Desoto does not seem to have any issues getting fully booked up, but, it was not my favorite campground. So great to hang out with you guys today. :) Michelle

People don't realize just how much it rains in Florida Our old town had over 100 inches of rain last year, one of the wettest on record. Life in the tropics! Good to see your sister in the video! Dumping those tanks looks like a real good time 🤮 Great camera work in this one Jim! Rain or not, I really enjoyed this video! Hope you both are doing well!

My allergies have been worse here than in Michigan! Between the dampness, mold, mildew and pollen, crazy. We thought people might like to see some of the things we do on a regular basis. Thank you Paul! Hope you are both staying healthy :) - Michelle

@@airstreamer I feel for you! JoAnna's allergies were horrible while we lived in Florida. Things bloom all year long there. There is no let up for people that suffer from allergies. Don't even get me started on the mold...trying to control that while I was running restaurants is a tough task!

Oh! Your black tank flush is in a WAY better location. Ours hasn’t worked since we bought our Airstream used but in a gross plot twist, ours is directly above our fresh city water inlet. 🤢

Dunedin is not just a Scottish town. We are Celtic! Scottish, Irish and all things Celtic as the signs and Irish pubs and stores tell.
