Jim and Michelle, I enjoyed meeting you in Holland, MI last week. Michelle, thanks for watching my video and subscribing. Your video work is awesome! I could use some of those skills in my simple videos. Great job on this! All the best in your time left in Holland and adventures beyond! (I'm going to subscribe to your FB and IG channels now, too!)
Hello Mike!! It was great meeting you too. You are welcome, and thank you for taking the time to watch and comment on our video. Thank you for your support and very kind words! - Michelle
Great timing... we just drove by my childhood home when we were back visiting family in Cleveland. What a flood of emotions. Loved hearing the story of how you guys met. We have never been to Coldwater, but it looks like a wonderful place. Thank you for taking us along with you. LOVE THE BLOOPERS
Thank you! The whole video was kind of an impromptu situation. We had planned to meet friends for dinner in Coldwater, and they had to cancel. Since we were already there, we decided to look around, and voila' we were taking a trip down memory lane! Thank you for coming along, and glad you loved the bloopers. I get so tongue tied when the camera is on!! LOL! - Michelle
Aw, this was a great video, definitely a walk down memory lane! The flashback to Jim's old home, stories and photography studio were great. Loved the blooper reel too! 😂😉
Thank you so much Kris. I loved the 80's music Jim used when he was showing his studio. It was perfect! LOL. Yep, the blooper reel is the "real" us. Hahaha. - Michelle
I remember when Jim moved to Goldwater with his family (his dad was transferred if my memory serves me correctly) He used to live about 3 football fields from my house as the crows fly, or about 1/4 mile when riding bikes on the road. After he moved, we kept in touch through cassette tapes we sent back and forth for a couple of years. Thanks for the quick look at Coldwater. It was nice to see where Jim grew up when he moved down there I knew he had a photography business down there, and I do recognize the TV station that produced his commercial. I liked the part of you guys meeting at hhis dad's funeral, then getting married. It took a sad time and made it a happy time for many years. Take care you two....... and keep the videos coming :D
Thanks for the walk down memory lane loved seeing your childhood home and hearing your stories. It was nice to see where you met and hear the story. Loved seeing the commercial of Jims Photography that was great! This looked like a wonderful town to meet and grow up. You sounded a lot like us we met each others family before each other and cross paths several times before we met 32 years ago! Thanks for sharing it was lovely!
You are welcome, thank you walking with us! We met in Coldwater, but I never lived there. Jim moved to my hometown of Port Huron, we were married there and lived our whole married life there. (our next video will be about going home to there, if we ever get it done......lol) How funny that we have similar stories! We appreciate you guys! - Michelle
I have been to Cold Water, but admittedly it was only to gas ip and restock some supplies at the Meijer. Great tour! Glad you got to see some old friends.
What a lovely, nostalgic video! 🥰Coldwater isn’t too far from where we live here in Manchester. ❤ Just about an hour. Ever heard of it? Although we are a much smaller town of just a little over 2,000 residents. I also work for our local library, Michelle! It’s been one of my favorite jobs! Thanks for taking us down a trip down memory lane. ❤
Yes, we’ve heard of Manchester. A few years back, I (Jim) had a Vintage Base Ball Club and we would play the Chelsea Monitors, just up the road from Manchester. Libraries are great, Michelle loved her time working there. Thanks so much for commenting.
@@airstreamer not too many people have heard of Manchester, but when I mention Chelsea that rings a bell with many, and if not, we just refer to Ann Arbor being half hour away. Everyone’s heard of Ann Arbor. 😜 Thats really awesome that you were involved with vintage baseball! It’s so important to keep history alive! 🤩
Fun video seeing Jim's hometown. We recently returned to the town where we lived after we got married (Perrysburg, OH near Toledo). We hadn't been back in almost 30 years. Sadly, our favorite restaurant had just recently burned down. At least our apartment was still there...
Thanks Guys! We were glad we stopped there. It was sad seeing the buildings gone, but lots of great things are happening there too! Nice that you got to go back, sad your favorite restaurant is gone. :(
Looks like. Great house to grow up in! It’s always fun to go home! Haha bloopers are always fun to watch! Let’s us know we aren’t the only ones that mess up! 😂 Fun video Guys!!
:) Thank you. It was a stop we hadn't planned, but really glad we did. Thank you so much for your kind words and support. We are so glad you enjoy watching! - Michelle
Great seeing your home town of Coldwater and we love seeing trains!! There is a restaurant in Burlington Washington named Train Wreck! Great info and loved your video! ~Brad and Diana
Thank you Guys!! Knew you would like the trains :) How funny? Two Train Wrecks! lol. So nice having lunch with you two today!! Looking forward to seeing you again soon. -Jim & Michelle
Imagine how much we would freak out if our kids climbed on the roof now. Fun video. Interested to see how your email signups go from the QR code. Very well done!
Funky chairs! Orange looks good on you, Michelle!!
Hahaha! Thanks Darlin! :) - Michelle
