    Im going to give this meal prep a try for my tegu. She is still having some issues getting accustomed to the new enclosure. Hoping i can find a way to change that. Thanks for the informative videos!

    Could you make a video on how to set up containers for incubator. Like what substrate ,to use how much water , temps and when to vent the eggs pls .

    I know this Isn’t about the food but how often for you clean a tegu enclosure

      That depends on the enclosure size, depth of substrate, and size of the tegu. What I recommend is going bioactive so you don't have to clean it out. I'm going to be doing a video on how to set that up.

      Feed them 5-7 days per week. And as much as they want.

      @@SkiTTleSTheNIX Once you notice they stopped growing in length and start growing in girth then you can cut back to 2 to 3 times a week

    thank you very much for this, just got a blue tegu yesterday and already noticing just how much he is wanting to eat at just a couple of weeks old.is there any differences in what you feed your new born tegus? and if so how old are they when you switch them to this diet?

      This is very similar to the diet I give babies. I give babies more insects such as crickets and dubia roaches.

      That is Van, short for vanilla Ice. He is a blue ice tegu 100% het. Albino. He is incredible! You like the edits? Trying out a new style, will take a while to perfect it.

      That's the red female that layed the most recent clutch. She didn't have a name but thinking of calling her Ryder (short for little red riding hood lol)

      How do you have such beautiful tegus? I would love to see them in person someday. I can not decide a favorite. I love them all.
      I see the females do well together.
      Do you have to keep the males separate when not breeding?

      @@mat1988ize I only have my grow outs together right now. And I have payload in with Houdini. With experience you can keep males and males, females with females or females with males. Just have to know what to look for and be ready to separate if there are problems. I always advocate keeping separate.

    Love the vids!...I've been a bearded dragon guy for years with HUNDREDS of dragons and a youtube channel. Last Nov for my bday I got my first Tegu from Opal Dragons and let me tell you I am hooked! I need more =)
