Once again great video. Very beautiful tegus. I’m in love with that red 😍 .
Thank you so much for watching! Her babies will be even better than she is!
Love the video man and thank you for the new food preparation
Great video bro love that mix it is totally what I had in mind for my future tegu diet so I’m glad to see that this type of mix works 🤙🏻🔥🔥
Thanks man! It works well!
Great video man 👍
These are some amazing looking Tegus!
Thank you very much!
Im going to give this meal prep a try for my tegu. She is still having some issues getting accustomed to the new enclosure. Hoping i can find a way to change that. Thanks for the informative videos!
That can happen! New enclosures can bring out some insecurities. As long as she has what she needs she will come around. Thanks for watching!
Update?
You should crack an egg on top, they love, love that.perhaps 4 times a week.
Great info thanks I’m going to give it a try
Sounds good! Thanks for watching!
Your tegus are beautiful
Could you make a video on how to set up containers for incubator. Like what substrate ,to use how much water , temps and when to vent the eggs pls .
I sure will!
Rose City Reptiles TX thank you
I know this Isn’t about the food but how often for you clean a tegu enclosure
That depends on the enclosure size, depth of substrate, and size of the tegu. What I recommend is going bioactive so you don't have to clean it out. I'm going to be doing a video on how to set that up.
Is this the same diet you use for hatchling and juvenile tegus?
Cool thanks for the info! I needed this...
I wanted to ask and maybe see how you feed hatchlings/young tegus and how much....
Feed them 5-7 days per week. And as much as they want.
@@RoseCityReptilesTX Ok thanks.
@@SkiTTleSTheNIX Once you notice they stopped growing in length and start growing in girth then you can cut back to 2 to 3 times a week
@@RoseCityReptilesTX Thank you very much :)
But for baby tegu is it same?
Where do you get your insectivore diet from?
Local fees store. I had to ask them to order it for me.
Hi can I ask you some questions my black and white Teague is so fussy what she eats can you give me any advice what to feed her I live in the UK
thank you very much for this, just got a blue tegu yesterday and already noticing just how much he is wanting to eat at just a couple of weeks old.is there any differences in what you feed your new born tegus? and if so how old are they when you switch them to this diet?
This is very similar to the diet I give babies. I give babies more insects such as crickets and dubia roaches.
hello! i know you made this video a while back, but i was wondering what type of solid gold dog food did you use? I'm wanting to try this diet for my tegus.
thank you!!
Great video! Super depressing music!
Where can I get that food from
They went out of buisness
Joey the tegu man! I appreciate your content, and think your approach to informing us about these wonderful creatures is top notch. I love how you have your family involved and the positivity you bring to the community 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much for all of your great knowledge an positivity! I've been checking out your videos over the last few days and it has very much reinvigorated my appreciation for tegus! Especially since Gunter (my blue) was watching videos with me when I happened to come across you!
Great video I'll have to try out a diet like that for my tegu, what's the song if I may ask?
Thank you, and I can't remember what song it was.
Great video
Thank you! Appreciate it!
Hi! Love your videos and how sincere you are. I have been told I can't house tegus together, what are your advises on that?
Your tegus sure loves your menu. Thanks for the tips. I enjoyed it very much 👍
Yes they do! Thanks for watching!

If it's not a real pain, I wish you'd post theTegus names when each one is shown. We could get to know them better.
the chicken was definitely the star haha
Haha absolutely! The king of the back yard currently lol.
Dude loved the video! Awesome edits man those were some great shots! And those grow outs are amazing! What’s the super high white one with the burnt nose?! That thing is soooo clean!!
That is Van, short for vanilla Ice. He is a blue ice tegu 100% het. Albino. He is incredible! You like the edits? Trying out a new style, will take a while to perfect it.
Oh man he needs to be ready for action ASAP haha!! His babies are gonna be incredible for sure!! And hell ya man they came together well! Can’t wait to see how you keep improving you’re videos, can really tell you care about them!
@@jthinerman1184 he will be breeding next season! Should produce some albinos. Thank you for the support! Really appreciate it!
Great video!
Thank you so much!
Which tegu is at 8:10?
That's the red female that layed the most recent clutch. She didn't have a name but thinking of calling her Ryder (short for little red riding hood lol)
How do you have such beautiful tegus? I would love to see them in person someday. I can not decide a favorite. I love them all.
I see the females do well together.
Do you have to keep the males separate when not breeding?
@@mat1988ize I only have my grow outs together right now. And I have payload in with Houdini. With experience you can keep males and males, females with females or females with males. Just have to know what to look for and be ready to separate if there are problems. I always advocate keeping separate.
Love the vids!...I've been a bearded dragon guy for years with HUNDREDS of dragons and a youtube channel. Last Nov for my bday I got my first Tegu from Opal Dragons and let me tell you I am hooked! I need more =)
Thanks for watching! I have one from Rigo as well. Tegus are amazing animals.
I am actually subscribed to your channel and have been for years haha!
Rose City Reptiles TX Awesome. I need to get back on the RUclips Game ! Been a while.
