Such an awesome video, it flew by very fast. I was so immersed that I was surprised when it ended, I thought I was only about half way through. Thanks for sharing!
Man, it's so surreal seeing my own area on Rob's clips. Next time ya come to Yuen Long, u should go to Nam San Wai. It's lil bit more scenic, mix of road and bike paths, more content. :)
@@zone1b14Actually, just a few days ago, in order to cut public works budget, a bicycle bridge across a river in Sha Tin was cut back from the original plan. The plan eventually passed.
I rented that same bike lmao! Did this track yesterday in the scorching heat. Drank a ton and still ended up with mad cramps. When i reached tai po. Ended having to stop zfter 53 km. The bike lane is a lie..it constantly vanished and half my time was being lost in cities. Plus, you constantly have to statt and stop and cross bridges. I dod start in tuen mun tho, instead of yuen long. And between tue. Mun and tai po there were no points to drop off the bike. I got rly sunburnt halfway in and wanted to quit but i couldn't lol. I saw the guy that rented him the bike but in the tuen mun store, so thats confusing. Btw, i broke the vending machine at 3:53. I wanted a second drink and it just wouldn't take my money lmal
You should get in touch with @ChrisHKdiary some day! He's a local Hong Kong RUclipsr who does a lot of cycling stuff and he could show you some more interesting places to cycle

So bizarre to see bicycling infrastructure that is so good but simultaneously so terrible
government only do one job: wasting money and wont work

I think the guy from the rental bike shop was trying to mention that you shouldnt use frontal brakes to hard, cause you can flip over.

Whos here after Kotos live?
5:54 It's Fanling
the bike lane between Yue Long and Sheung Shui is inconsistent and dangerous.
BTW, are there lots of cyclists cycling on the bike lane?
Yeah, there is a whole stretch that has you on the road and its full of industry and trucks driving by.
