Dan did an incredible haircut for this young man. I agree that just shaving it off or going shorter is not always easy especially for one that is losing hair and is probably already self conscious about it. For some, hair loss and shorter hair may just elevate those insecurities. He looks awesome. If a mullet makes him feel good, to each his own. This guy is only 20 years old and has so much time to evolve his hair look. Kudos to Theo for sharing his experience and journey with hair loss. Hair loss can be a big issue at any age, especially when you're young and your hair is an important part of your self image. "Just shaving it off" is not that easy for everyone, but as you lose hair when it comes to haircuts the shorter the better. Theo is a handsome fella and a shorter hairstyle would suit him nicely, but at his age whatever makes him feel the most comfortable is also a good option, and Dan did a great job with that, as usual.

Something like Dan did with Jamie's hair, 6 videos back, would've been a better option for this chap. When hair is thinning, shorter hair is the way to go.
Would have looked alright with a short back and sides with same length as it is now on top? Looks like he left it too late with the treatment. Very hard to gain back that much ground when it's lost. He could easily pull off a shaved head, and more likely to get laid than with that mullet.
Beautiful eyes! Why doesn’t Dan recommend DHT blockers??? They work wonders as well as Castor oil and Rosemary? Works great! Red light therapy helps as well as rolling it. There are a lot of other effective things to do other than taking crappy monoxidiol, which you have to continue or the new hair will fall out. Make sure your shampoo doesn’t contain ingredients that cause hair loss, many big name brands do.

These mullets are in where I live too. I don't get the part about shaving above the ears. I live in a westren/country situation so... that could be where he got that idea from
I have similar hairline and hair texture to this guy... I decided to just own it and cut my hair short, showing my natural hair line - i think it actually looks better and feels more confident

Sorry but a mullet is always awful. It just screams ‘avoid me I’m a nutcase’. I find it odd he would want a haircut that only serves to accentuate his receding hairline, if he’s that bothered about it
Great do, a mullet _is always a statement._ His hair-time is fading, when it's gone he can think, "The light that burns twice as bright burns half as long - and you have burned so very, very brightly."
I am in the same situation. I wanted to try mullet but not that much long hair on the back of the head. But my hair is thinning, it's holding me back. Same situation with buzz cut too. Any help? 😅
feel like this model genuinely just doesn't sees dan and the experience and advice as nothing more than walking into any shop and asking for "just a trim", dan instantly knew what haircut he would suit and what would work for this thinning top, I get he might be nervous on camera etc, but just a meh attitude is so hard to work with in the shop let alone to present a education series, props dan. edit.. just go to the final look, executed as he always does but and awful look, client should of let dan take length off the back for balance, just seems to have a hanging wig of his head.
Pause it at 24:55 lol…the look on Dans face behind this guy is hilarious. I don’t understand the level of denial in some of these guys. As soon as I saw significant hair loss I would start shaving my hair short af and move on. The fight makes it look even worse.

It's horrible when hair gets longer and thick at back makes front look thinner Im going through same thing. feel stuck not knowing what sytle to have with my hair.good videos.
Evidently Dan looks nice with any hair style he goes with. He’s an expert
I think the plus here with this haircut “And Dan prob knows all too well” is that in a couple of days/weeks when the inevitable happens and all the little hair he has on-top is gone…he can adopt the skullet hairstyle which is soo popular today and sported by the likes of Bill Bailey etc
These mullets are in where I live too. I don't get the part about shaving above the ears. I live in a westren/country situation so... that could be where he got that idea from
this guys face and eye colour look insane, he needs to get a hair system to regain his confidence, feel for this guy
As always a huge improvement
Excellent Excellent Excellent!!!!
Good job !! He looks wonderful!!
Please Tell him to take Dutastride, Only thing that Brought my Thickness and hair Falling out.
should've taken dans advice on the crop fringe but well done for giving client what he wanted
20 is a great age to try fun haircuts
I would give anything to give full control to Dan to work on my thinning mop.
Poor bastard. I was like him. Minox won’t rescue his hair now. Propecia is needed - like three years ago - but could still help.
I have similar hairline and hair texture to this guy... I decided to just own it and cut my hair short, showing my natural hair line - i think it actually looks better and feels more confident
He should've listened to what Dan suggested.
His hair looks really good in the back. Hopefully the meds will bring front back some. I think he should grow his beard. Seems fairly thick. I have a mild mullet myself 😂
Looks before
better now the hairlost is accented on point.. this time sorry he looks more unhappy than before
But dan is a great sensitive hairstylist barber
Maybe the the guy tries it next time little bit shorter in the back he has a nice face shouĺdn't be sad ❤❤❤
A truly heinous style - but what the client asked for.
I'm old😀…I remember the mullets in the late 1980’s...looks good on him
the only time a mullet will ever look good is if you're Solid Snake or Kurt Russell.
Mel Gibson too!
Theo Von 😚😎
What powder does Dan use? I mean, for the hair :)
@@Cristobal_2012 I''d say Pat Sharp was on the spectrum, at "zany" ...although admittedly that was a bit try-hard :)
The good thing about balding when you have a mullet is that it’s only going to be an improvement when you shave it off
@@Cristobal_2012 celebs are always nutcases
I am in the same situation. I wanted to try mullet but not that much long hair on the back of the head. But my hair is thinning, it's holding me back. Same situation with buzz cut too. Any help? 😅
Looks great Dan
Nice to see Theo smile ❤
feel like this model genuinely just doesn't sees dan and the experience and advice as nothing more than walking into any shop and asking for "just a trim", dan instantly knew what haircut he would suit and what would work for this thinning top, I get he might be nervous on camera etc, but just a meh attitude is so hard to work with in the shop let alone to present a education series, props dan.
edit.. just go to the final look, executed as he always does but and awful look, client should of let dan take length off the back for balance, just seems to have a hanging wig of his head.
Man Dan is looking more handsome than ever
Pause it at 24:55 lol…the look on Dans face behind this guy is hilarious. I don’t understand the level of denial in some of these guys. As soon as I saw significant hair loss I would start shaving my hair short af and move on. The fight makes it look even worse.
Don't understand why anyone would like to have his hair look like that but if he likes it than it turned out to be what he wanted.
If I see guys on the streets with that hairdo I always secretly ask myself WHY ?
ik vind je een kunstenaar hoor Regal Gentleman .
gr uit Nederland
Awesome haircut
Never underestimate the power of denial!
Honestly think it looks pretty cool I’m goin thru the same thing receding hairline and I’m keeping it long lol
I like the hairstyle. Definitely different which is cool.
