The worst you can do is whistle, people got scare and move unexpectedly, in this video you can see it very clear. If you get to a cross and there is a few pederestian, you simply pass thru, and if you got a lot of them the only way is passing slow. Also if you whistle or shout people can get angry and unfriendly and someone can do something to you, if you stay silent they not even kwon what happen and you can read their movements so easy. I like to ride as a ghost, just going with the flow of the city. Your videos are the best and the edition is simply great! Keep the good work and the sick rides! Regards from Buenos Aires!
Ducati NYC Vlog It's crazy.... I saw you cam view, & saw terry's cam view of the same day you guys bumped into eachother... 👍.... that's 🔥 thanks for sharing guys...
This guy is the fastest of them all! Pure speed and recklessness! I really prefer guys like this in your videos, the wheelie/fakie/tricky dudes are kinda boring. Please do more videos like this, Krussia, Matt Watson, Safa...these are the best...
At 9:05 That is the One Vanderbilt building under construction, to the right after the park ave overpass. At 9:48 That Aquamarine building at the end and left is the Salesforce tower. This guy is going fast. Takes me from 728am to 745am to reach 6th ave from the start point like 17 mins.... this guy does in 9 mins... of course the top bridge and running lights + fixed Gear bike cuts that time in half. I would love to buy one, but wife will aggro as I have 4 already.
It’s people like you who inspire craziness. Yesterday I was trying to ride my bike over the Brooklyn bridge for the first time. I followed two bikers, who I thought were on the bike path. I quickly realized we were taking the 278 across the bridge. It was too late by that point to turn around. Luckily, some guy drove behind us as we rode across the bridge in the left lane. People in their cars were pissed.
Call me a hater, but I watched more than a dozen of your videos and I thought they were really interesting and some of the best helmet-cam action I have ever seen, they gave me an insight into urban cycling especially in the US, but I can't agree on how you treat pedestrians, especially in this video. I'm a passionate cyclist and motocyclist, but to treat pedestrians like this is neither cool nor okay. It's outright rude and completely oblivious of other people's feelings. I really don't care about rules and I run red lights myself whenever convenient. It's not my job to lecture anyone, but you could hit an onfurtunate old lady and have her break her hip, or you could simply scare someone to a heart attack. Not cool, really. I liked your videos because I thought they show great cycling spirit, but the wrong spirit I must now admit.
This dude banged the living shit out of the pavement. my man is taking over Semis on the BQE and shredding through traffic like there is no tomorrow. no helmet, pants or gloves. this is the way
Love the rough cut vids! I got so nervous and excited half way through I had to pour myself a Vodka and Red Bull to get through the rest of the vid. Your killing it Terry! Keep it going man, killer videos. Making it my dream to ride in New York someday.
did some really quick math using the fixed gear calculator at www.surplace.fr/ffgc/ Counting his RPM between 11:00 and 12:00 comes out to about 118, which on a 49x17 gear ratio (and assuming his tires are 23 cm) comes out at around 26 mph.
ya, lame question. but, none the less valid. in the US it is illegal to sell a bicycle without brakes. but, if you have any style or skills on a fixie you run brake-less. its more or less the whole point of riding a fixed bike.
Harry Tzianskis The God of Speed I'm sorry but NYC pedestrians are cattle! Evidenced by the large groups of them who mindlessly meander against the light while blithely ignoring incoming traffic.
Harry Tzianskis The God of Speed 🤔 So, clearly your antipathy for their inimitable skill and temerity has stemmed from your self-loathing and resentment. I mean, why else would you become so angered by something you admit to doing yourself? Most likely because you can't do it as well as they have.😀
Harry Tzianskis The God of Speed Sounds good...but we are going to need you to provide actual footage. Seems like you are going to need to set up a session with Terry in the near future.
You get some absolutely glorious shots of NYC. I think you should sell signed prints, posters and photo books by selecting some stills from your vlogs.
10:27 I've seen this in other urban cycling videos too and wondered about it...why do you run your hand along the side of a bus when passing it? Is it so that the driver sees you in his mirror?
HOT DAMN! i’ve watched almost all your Hotline vids and this one gives me the intro to Eminem’s song: “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy” 😂. I ride like 70% like this and I’m sweatin outchea! AWESOME VID!!!
I still don't understand why not stay in slow lane on the bridge cause a lot of cars were passing it's a hazard, please ride safe, avoid unnecessary manipulations (from others) that you can't control. I wish I could ride like this though WELL DONE! :)
Thry already aren't supposed to be there and making a car go around you is safer for you then giving them the opportunity to pinch you into the shoulder
Fuck dude....now I know why/how Krussia finished first in the heavy traffic part of the 4/20 allycat......watched this video yesterday and kid you not just had dreams last night of speeding along the highway using just my legs and mybike
Terry, do you do something with mic levels in edit? Those ambient sounds are dope!!!!! LoL that moto dude 3:25, you passed him minutes later down there :D + 10:28 Yeep, a golden touch indeed :D
Thanks Terry for sharing.... You guys are extreme athletes... New York is clearly a bike friendly city. You cannot do this riding in Manila. Very dangerous with hot headed drivers.
Why go to a crowd of people? And whistling at the same time and yelling like an idiot, to whom everyone should just because he bought fashionable bling for a bicycle. If you cannot technically cross corners, without disturbing anyone and creating embarrassing situations, not forcing pedestrians to draw attention to themselves and stupidly give way to you - do not meddle, this is not yours, you do not have skill. Good, beautiful video, but the moments with crowded transitions are just humiliating for you.
Hi im still very curious, are you attaching the gimble to the handle bar? and you mean the small gimble one right? Asking because I really want to do hotline Telaviv. Also if you're in the area please ping me Id love to ride with you :D
Count how long it takes for him to cover a standard block, multiply that by 20, divide that by 60, divide 60 by that, and then you have your answer as to how fast he's going at that point.

That's exactly the answer I was looking for
I use a speaker ppl hear music and move out the way or start jamming to it.
I use a metal whistle. But people in the city don't react insanely they don't panic.
Haha it was cool to spot you guys on the bridge. Crazy kids! PS. Damn, my bike sounds badass 😬🤘
Yeah, way louder than I thought it was. Funny how they passed you sitting in traffic. I'm not a fan of them scaring pedestrians though.
Ducati NYC Vlog I came looking for this comment
EDIT: the 620 Sounds mean!
Hell yeah!

@@rqteqobzrvr3592 what is the title of the vid of ducati?
You should really take these videos to EA Sports and Pitch an idea. I would pay top dollar to have a game like this. These videos are outstanding.
everytime i play gta i get on the bike.
But EA ruin every game
yes a messenger game, and the mini game is to balance your beer money vs bike parts and manifest costs for races
would hundred per cent buy this game, though I almost already hear the pitchforks being raised
Develop it for steam

Cooper Ray is up there too. so so smooth.
No, WolfBotts owns them all.
@@Flashback_Jack WolfBots is a bit of a wild cyclist but he still is a smooth rider
That Krussia guy is seriously strong

No disagreement here!
This is incredible. The riding, the filming, the entirety of it. Outstanding job.
Thank you Josh

This guy is an absolute beast. Both of you.
First time I've seen a BQE sprint, 23:25 passing a semi on the expressway like it's nothing.
Yeah, those last 5 mins or so are doooope :D
That’s sick guys!!! You killed it Krussia!! He got you working Terry ;)

Horse-legs. Best bike-video I've seen in a long time, even if some parts I felt "nah take it easy, that's not all too cool"
Sorry for my ignorance. But do all these guys do this on fixed gear with no brakes?

That bridge shot!
why were you guys in the passing lane on the bridge?
the on ramp they take puts them on that side with a solid white line. Funny things you didn't count the other infractions.
10:27 I've seen this in other urban cycling videos too and wondered about it...why do you run your hand along the side of a bus when passing it? Is it so that the driver sees you in his mirror?
I think they do that for so they dont out of balance
This camera seems really touchy regarding light conditions. It goes darker/brighter almost without cause.
GoPro 🤷♀️
I need a digital bell that makes one of your "alert/attention!" sounds at random when I press it
