- PART TWO of making my summer wardrobe!! This time I use a pattern from this amazing business in Copenhagen called Puff and Pencil. Great patterns for EASY sewing projects. I was able to sew some of the trendy summer pieces but put my own twist on them!

I have made a pair of shorts out of ONE shirt before, but it was truly a puzzle to get enough fabric for the panels. 😅
Haha yes I bet! I wasn’t sure if I wanted to tackle that puzzle lol but I kept all my scraps so maybe I can create something else from the smaller pieces.

Edited to add, that would be a good idea for a video. How to tackle the little scrap pieces of fabric. That’s mostly what I have and I’m always looking for ideas on how to diminish the stash.

Idk if this is obvious to everyone but instead of wrapping each strap from the long trousers around your whole body, you could have one strap only going through the front and the other through the back part. That way the parts of the straps that are visible are longer.
That’s actually what I ended doing in the end and like you said, the straps are more visible! I always like to show a visual for my idea while creating to help with the process.
