The GLK wins points for its clean design inside and out and its bag of luxury features, as well as its great on-road handling.
It loses a few points for a typically German sticker price, and less cargo room than competitors like the X3.

Love that it has vinyl instead of leather seats
my mom just got one i completely love it. it has the same engine as the ML so theres plenty of power my favorite feature is the Lift gate and my second is the Sunroof its such a good car and you get the classyness of A MB!

1:57 Like everybody else i also have a love for cupholders, but my car being a 5-speed i can't put any really big cups or cans in the cupholders without them getting in the way of my shifting.
@roadflytv Emme, the 2012 V6 engines of Merc will have 302 Hp which I guess makes this car more appealing when you compare it to the new X3.

@puffrooster This is not my first GM but it is my first Cadillac. Coming out of a Lincoln MKX Limited Edition I wanted something better than what I had and I found everything I wanted in the Caddy. I have no regrets.

Lol its so true! My 2011 F350 has 6 cupholders and my Porsche has 4 very little ones.
@ratmtbola : I am sorry, but I disagree. Consumer Reports specifically mentions the GLK as a vehicle that they cannot recommend because of its quality and reliability issues with purchasers.

For some reason the back tail lights remind me of a 2000-2007 Toyota Highlander.. Other than that, it's a safe, luxurious, and awesome Benz!
@Gabert1k Mercedes will forever make tanks, and that 3.5L V6 is not optimized for fuel economy at all. It does sound pretty good though.

@GeorgeKnighton Recent Mercedes models actually have pretty good reliability. It was in the early - mid 2000's when Mercedes had a little reliability slump. And the built quality and the fit & finish of materials in the Benz are superior to those in Lexus' or Acura's anyways.

In Germany the 2011 glk 350 has 306 hp and goes from 0-60 in 6.5 sec ....

Mhmmm emme is completely right... the GLK which has twice the doors and twice the size definatley competes with the RSX.
living in California, where Kia's come to the lots with sunroofs, you need to set your "hollah" standards a little higher - 4 wheel-disc brakes perhaps?

I grow to love it after thinking it looked " plain ". What annoys me is that people who buy the glk think they own the Sls which is funny.

@puffrooster not at all. I know someone who has the GLK and I'm mot impressed with it. I was just browsing RUclips and watching some videos that's all. LOVE MY SRX! Would buy it again in a HEARTBEAT! 😃

If you try this car in person, you'll know that the backseat is too small and you'll go with something else instead. Personally I bought a Cadillac SRX :)
That is such an odd place for the cruise control.....

I wasn't sure about the RSX reference, either. :-( Surprised that got through the editing. As far as 4 Matic being capable of maximising torque at each wheel, that is a marketing ploy and a gross exaggeration. It's nothing like the active torque vectoring of SH-AWD Acura, Nissan GTR or the 2012 Porsche Carrera 4S. Nothing at all like those.
I actually really like the cup-holder. Stop drinking so much soda.
But the German exchange student said that about us being fat.
I really do not like the styling of these, i would much prefer a Q5, that said great review and an awesome German accent and Emmie you really know how to dress, much nicer than the usual khaki pants and polo's you usually see on car reviewers!
