I’m not letting Edmonton go down
They are doing it with great team D structure, good goaltending, good PK, contributions from a lot of guys, and no McDavid/Drai racking up points and a low PP % for a while. Still have not hit 100 PDO yet.
Edmonton in October and November is like nothing I seen before, and Edmonton in December and January is also nothing I seen before, but in a good way

McDavid scoring or not he's still s force on the ice
It takes two or more players to control him on the ice. Therefore taking them away from their duties to play the game. You have to focus on playing ss a team. When you have players focused on McDavid instead of the puck. You lose.
That’s right . Mcdavid is still going to do what he does . And if the opponent is focused on him , then the other guys will have chances and they need to capitalize on those chances. Last game , mcdavid went to the front of the net and took a defender with him while creating a screen. That left mcloud open for the game winning goal.

I was at the San Jose game the oilers dominated 5-0 my brother and I left at the 3rd period to find out San Jose didn’t score. Fucking great! McDavid is stellar always a treat to watch him and his teammates play. I love Edmonton.

This is why the team are winning!! I never seen one Skinner highlight of how he produced amazing to get some of these wins but I did see a team firing on all cylinders to get Skinner wins.. Skinner is the Oiler weakest link but in saying that he is not terrible he is just the weakest part of a great team.

You're right - the Blues were in LAST place in the NHL heading into January - the Oilers are nowhere NEAR last place - and are continuing to build momentum!

@@nos5822 Yeah mate, they were close to the bottom early in the season, but my remark was about how they are NOW - in January - when the Blues WERE in last place, until they got Jordan Binnington in goal. The Oilers have just moved up to third in the Pacific.
They are playing as a team instead of individuals 😂😂
