The best thing about this streak is regardless of how the game goes, they’ve already done something incredible that cannot be taken away from them or the fans.
The wild thing to me is they haven’t played amazing most of these games, but they’ve played consistent.
Edmonton has 100% been outplayed a couple of these games and should have lost but the streak goes on. Good to see a Canadian team have a good turnaround.
Which game were they outplayed? There was games that could have gone either way, but I never felt like they got super lucky winning any of the games. The effort has been outstanding! Montreal game was probably their worst

You mean 1 game.. against chigago. Any other game you are thinking of.. has Edmonton giving away early leads but playing hard defence the rest of the way. And clawing their way to victory. Calgary game winning goal is the only other one. But we weren't outplayed. It was dead even with a lucky bounce our way.
@@RiperoniJabroniwell they were outplayed by Columbus for one period, but still managed to pull off the win. When you’re on a streak like this, sometimes you need a little bit of luck.

Edmonton might be the hottest team that goes into the playoffs. And honestly even if they don't play to the fullest of their potential, the depth and experience of this season will help them for sure. They finally win the close and hard fought games where they don't outscore their opponent but go down on the ice and do the hard and dirty work needed to win those games. Skinner looks finally like a really solid keeper and pickard is a decent backup

How cool would it be if this ended in a cup. Would probably be one of the most talked about comebacks in all of sports for years to come. The lessons it would teach new players to any sport about always staying in it even when the goals seem impossible to achieve. Amazing to witness.

Leaf fan here. I'm afraid the Oilers will win the Stanley Cup this June. It's destiny, I've seen this before. The players will look around the room and have an important feeling of being apart of Oiler history. Connor Mcdavid name will be gouged into the Stanley Cup, it's destiny.

Game 4 of the streak. Was a crazy on for me. Had a 11 leg parlay purposely set up for the last game to be on the oilers kings. It was 10$ to win $3648. Anyone here who watched that game knows how sweaty it was. 18, 1 time.

What’s crazy isn’t just the streak, it’s the fact they haven’t allowed more than two goals in a game since the first win of the streak against Devils. With supposed awful goaltending and atrocious defence.

You should add small clips of the Oilers from the 80s and the Canadiens from the 70s and the Red Wings from the 90s. Like in Moneyball where they show dominant teams from the past.

One of many differences between those Oakland A's and these Edmonton Oilers ( other than the A's actually broke the record) is that the A's had a GM that would rip them a new one when they needed it- unlike the Oilers, where Bouchard costs the team the game tonight, and is on CBC After Hours smiling and laughing. As Billy Beane said " Is Losing Fun?" Apparently it is fun in Edmonton, or at least, it is still acceptable. You can tell this team still does not have a champions mindset - it was already bad enough the way Bouchard and Draisaitl let the team lose tonight, but worse that Bouchard was on CBC After Hours laughing like nothing happened. This is a team culture problem. This was not the first time this season Bouchard cost his team the game, and it will not be the last time he costs his team the game. Mark my words on that.
