- For sale 55 Chevy 210 2 Door Sedan
283 Power Pack V8 3 Speed On The Column
Dual Exhaust
Check out the 55 chevy running and take a ride back to 1955. Looking for a cool hot rod here it is. 1955 Chevy 210 2 door sedan . Features a 283 small block v8 with a Carter AFB 4 Barrel Carburetor. 3 Speed transmission that is a column shift. Three on the tree. The electrical has been converted to Alternator as apposed to generator. It has dual exhaust out the back.
The car is in pretty original condition. Has some of it's original paint with the patina intact. The wheels and hub caps appear to be original 1955 issue. The exterior appear is pretty stock.
The body is quite solid, floors are good. With some small patches visible. Trunk floor is virtually perfect. The original spare tire and bumper jack are present. The jacking instruction decal is still partial visible.
The car runs excellent and has been quite reliable. I use it to run for parts and other errands. People react quite positively to this car. A stop at the gas station can turn into a 20 minute conversation pretty quickly.
This is a drive it the way it is car or a solid car for repair/restoration. It's your choice but it sure is fun.
Just amazing.. Beautiful
Thank You!
By chance do u still have this car ??
I put cardboard under my gm vehicles too.
She's a beaut. I know this is long gone but, I am currently looking for one in similar condition. Not a big deal but the only interior piece I would prefer it has, is the dash, other than that the less interior there is, the better. I don't even care if it runs or has an engine.
Wish I would have seen this earlier...is a buy it
I love these cars I always have. but nowadays they’re like assholes everybody’s got one.🤣🛠🇺🇸🛠
Nice!!
Thank You!
Unless I missed it I didnt see a price .I never call on anything that doesnt have a price .
Sorry it has sold
What does it take to convert the 3 on the tree to a 4 spd on a 55? Can’t seem to find any articles. Thanks
Change the transmission. Change the shifter and linkage. If you use a Muncie m21 4 speed transmission , the driveshaft should fit with out cutting or a yoke change. The m21 has a course input spline that should fit the existing clutch disc. Cut a hole in the floor for the shifter. That's about it. A simplified explaination. Good Luck, Troy
Whats that 283 out of , double hump heads, is i a Holley or Carter, or GM Rochester?
64 283 with Power Pack heads not fuelie (double hump). Carburetor is a Carter
Hey boss, what did it sell for? Looking for that exact car with patina. Find me another one. Thanks
If I run across another one I will let you know. Thanks for the comment. As far as the sale price goes, it was north of 12k with some trading involved.

@@troykane it must have just sold. I realized after posting you had a website and checked and it was still for sale. You guys are close I'm over in CT. 15k was a little more than I wanted to spend I got lucky and found a 55 gasser in progress with all the right suspension work done in my price range. It was not even up for sale yet I saw it in a RUclips video that was up for 20 minutes called the guy and that was the end of that.
@@stoneyswolf Perfect! Congratulations and Good Luck on your project, Troy
