They were going after his father who owed a gambling debt that he had not paid. My buddy borrowed his father's van to go to the bar one night and when the bar closed he started the vehicle and it exploded. I've had other friends shot. It is easy to live here if your family has money. You grow up go to college and get out of here or get a good career and live in this suburbs. If you don't come from money you are kind of stuck. While I have come to greatly enjoy this channel, I am VERY disappointed with how misleading the title is for this trio of accounts. I see no reason to use the adjective "CRUEL" when describing the hunters in either of the stories. While there have been cruel, even foolish hunters in previous accounts, the use of that word in these stories, IMO, is very disrespectful to the memories of the men that lost their lives during what was described as normal, carefully planned hunting trips... especially the brothers who unexpectedly encountered the mountain lion. Were they not hunting wild boars so that they could feed the family for the winter? Were they not wasteful and left the unneeded parts for scavengers to have a bit to eat? The trapper in the first story set traps for food as well ( and would probably fashion hats to sell from skins)...while I found it a foolish thing to venture out for months alone regardless of experience (but, maybe not as the boys were together but one was still killed), the word cruel did not describe him either. I enjoy this channel. I find that in addition to being entertaining and interesting, it is very informative. This is just a respectful bit of criticism. Catchy titles for click bait are unnecessary when the information is this good and can come off as disrespectful. Someone should be apologizing to the family of those lost (the ones still around, of course). If I were the surviving brother, for instance, I would likely be furious. But this is just my opinion.
In the 1st story, the cat should NOT have been killed for trying to defend herself, she was scared & being approached her warnings were not heeded so she had no option but try to defend herself, it is tragic that someone died but it is understandable given how the animal was cornered. She should have been relocated not killed. In the 2nd story he should not have run, by running he guaranteed an attack by triggering the hunting instinct in the wolves. He should have known to back up slowly. Wolves are naturally inclined to be cautious however like a Grizzly Bear they are automatically triggered to chase & see the runner as prey.
That cougar could have left in any direction without ever being seen, it was not cornered, in fact it was hunting the boys and fed on the victim, and would have done so again! It was killed to protect the next batch of hikers! By the time Crist tried to outrun the wolves, he already knew that he was dead if he couldn't reach a good tree, he was damned if he did and damned if he didn't.

Normally a cougar will just climb a tree and watch you, even with kittens, the whole family just climbs up the tree. This cat stayed on the ground(predatory), if it had showed itself(curious), no problem, but it hid itself(predatory). Scared cougars run away, they never fight. Since the boys were hunting, we know they were following a game trail, therefore all the cougar had to do was keep travelling up the trail, definitely not cornered, just lying in wait.

I wanted to hunt as a young man but now that I'm 4 months away from the 60 I don't care for it unless it's for food . I find trophy mounts distasteful . I prefer gambling to pass the time .

Hunting for food isn’t cruel. Neither is hunting an animal that is constantly killing your livestock. Hunting for sport is definitely cruel, but non of these people were doing that with the possibly exception of the trapper. But at least he used every part of the animal instead of just profiting off their fur. Not a fan of traps though.

I hunt for fun all the time. I think it's fun getting my own meat and not needing the government to hold my hand. Life is a battle. So far I have harvested over 14 grizzly bears, 26 black bears, moose, Elk, deer, turkey coyotes, and ect... Have fun shopping at the grocery store and listening to your leaders because that's working out for America now 🤨

Hunting for food isn’t cruel. Neither is hunting an animal that is constantly killing your livestock. Hunting for sport is definitely cruel, but non of these people were doing that with the possibly exception of the trapper. But at least he used every part of the animal instead of just profiting off their fur. Not a fan of traps though.

I hunt for fun all the time. I think it's fun getting my own meat and not needing the government to hold my hand. Life is a battle. So far I have harvested over 14 grizzly bears, 26 black bears, moose, Elk, deer, turkey coyotes, and ect... Have fun shopping at the grocery store and listening to your leaders because that's working out for America now 🤨
I think it's wrong to kill an animal for killing a person that was trying to kill it
Here’s the way I say yeah you can hunt for me. You could kill the animal and still keep it down, but you have to eat the meat.

Can you guys at least change the title to unfair hunters? I feel like it’s stereotyping to see hunters as evil people when we commonly hunt for conservation, wildlife management and most of all the meat.

If these were people, there would be no way that you could post this. Seeing animals in traps (torture) and watching them get shot down is sick. Certainly not entertaining or educational. Not even the real situation, but other random clips of animals in traps, etc… it’s gratuitous. You shouldn’t be able to monetize that.
