10:56 Redman can be found in the very top of the screen. Something tells me all these Creepypastas are tied together in some way. For example, the NPC talks about “It” for some time. Maybe it’s referring to Redman? Either way, I like these and they only keep getting better. Don’t stop making these!

I’d think this would be a nice touch that Mojang would add to Minecraft considering that they don’t show other stuff that you need to do to beat the game such as teaching you how to build a Nether Portal. I imagine it would be a setting called “NPC Guide”, and you can turn it on and off at anytime.

It seems like herobrine's code was found and repurposed to make the npc which explains its abilities
It also looks like the soul of some previous tester of this snapshot was fused into the ai
which is why it sometimes acts like a person that thinks you are the npc who should be helping it
When Buddy said "It" I realized the whole thing. It was a movie reference to the movie "It". That's why the NPC's name is Buddy, the killer doll from the movie.

excluding the "glitches", this could be a cool update that mojang could do, where in the option of creating a new world, there was a toggle npc/buddy option, that would guide you through the game
and if that was added, one thing that would be really cool, would you to be able to customize your buddy, like a custom nametag, and skin
What is more scary is Minecraft Bedrock & Education editions have NPCs way before this video was published. But whats funny is all of those Education NPC is like villager
