He SHOULDN'T be. Asking the backup to get a 90 yard plus drive with under 2 minutes left no timeouts the other team knows you have to throw and needing a TD is utterly absurd . This is all Mac Jones and BBs fault. @user-ru9kf8ys6r One could argue the offensive line giving up five sacks in the first half four of which came on third down, which stalled multiple drives, is what lost it in the first place. One could also argue the offensive line breaking down, allowing another defender to go through and cause mac to panic and throw the interception in the first place is what lost the game. One could argue zappe throwing an interception into quadruple coverage with a perfect pocket is what lost the game.

He’s a backup with no experience.Yes he threw a bad pass,but the game was already lost. The fact is they only scored 6 points thru 4 q and that’s why they lost. Jones threw so many bad passes including the one at the end that got picked there was another that should ave been picked off in the end zone . Mac is not a good QB

Any claim against mac jones is baseless because In order to prove that he is the problem, we would need to see him have these same struggles with a good team. However that has never happened.
No quarterback would succeed with the worst offensive line and bottom ten receivers.

The Patriots receiver was in the end zone and Mac Jone tossed the ball to the Colt’s defensive back at the 2 yard line!
To ask Zappe to come in and win the game under those circumstances of that scenario is so unreasonable . Yes it was a bad play but he didn’t lose that game. It’s all on BB and Mac jones
