“Just cast dispel! A level 3 could solve this” no they couldn’t. Your dismissive comments further prove your own ignorance of high level play.
The party used a complex plan to take down the god of complications 😅
And it was over complicated. Just cast God level dispell on the whole town.
Ultimate level 20 challenge: Obox-ob and his minions have regained power, and now we must mobilize literally everyone on the planes from Correlon to Delleb to freaking Asmodeus to stop the apocalypse.
5:30 it is important to note, that these people all do play in the game, however almost never all at the same time
Level 20+ in 3.5e was wild with the epic level handbook
The encounter that's prevents level 20 play the most is "real life scheduling"

I grab jeweler's supplies prof, go to a digging site and buy a giant lump of coal, cast fabricate to compress it into an enormous finished diamond (raw material into a finished product, and since I'm proficient with working with those it fits all necessary prerequisites), and start screwing around. At maximum, I've calculated that single diamond to be worth over 500 billion gold pieces
