That turkey looked delicious! I bought organic turkeys this year and they are so different from the Butterball I have gotten before. These have very little fat and a mild turkey flavor. In soon very envious! I traveled HOURS to make my dream come true. I wanted to see the gingerbread houses competition and to go eat at Grove Park Inn. I also wanted to see the outside of the Biltmore Inn. You are so lucky that you live so close that you don't give it a second thought maybe to go see the gingerbread house tour
The wife and I went over the mountain last week to visit Biltmore, the day of walking my wife said someone had suggested we eat at the "Red Stag Grill". Had we known it was so expensive we would have never went but since we were already seated and the trip was what she wanted for Christmas we had a great dinner. While at different locations over there I thought it would have been neat to have ran into you guys, slim chance i know but it could happen. I hope you have a great Christmas. God Bless
I have a book suggestion, I don't know if Grace is into science fiction type books but one that blew my mind was called The Dream of the Stone by Christina Askounis. I've never forgotten it. I read so many books as a child and teenager and that one book has always stuck out for some reason.
I’m watching some of your older videos as I have only been watching your channel about 6 weeks.. but I have caught up for this year. I’m about one and half hour away from Asheville. You have me now wanting to go to the Grove Park in December to see these beautiful gingerbread houses. Your sweet family is precious. I enjoy watching you guys so much and the garden looks great. I have a garden with my parents and just had the first corn and tomatoes today. I have cabbage in the fridge for tomorrow. Did it cost to get into the Grove Park in December?
