I have been watching so many videos on the tragedy in N.C. and it's heart breaking. However, something happened the other day that shook me and surprised me. The video was an ariel view of the mountains and destruction, when all of a sudden, I was overwhelmed by The Presence of God...and His heart of Love, Grace and Mercy for those ppl whose lives have been affected there. He is with them. He is working miracles for so many and will turn horrible situations into something very good for them as only He can.
Thank-you for continuing to tell us what is happening and going on. I live in NC but we are seniors with health issues and cannot come to help, or afford to send funds, right now. We hope in time that will change.
Bear from Grindstone Ministeries has been doing this since Katrina. He has people there from the entire country. They are amazing. Shout out to Bear, William, Cody and ALL the MEN!!! Only ones exposing the toxicity.

I'm a new sub, i watch and pray for N.C. My sister got a text from her friend who lives in Newland NC and she said the people lost homes and they need warm clothing, coats temporary housing, etc. can that be checked out?
Here in Ohio, we had several checkpoints to deliver items which I was all set to do. But then I saw a few videos that said they have so many food and different supplies that they don't need more currently. But please don't forget about our area in months to come. Then I saw your videos about your 2 friends and donated to both of them. That's what we need, to know where to donate to help a specific need. Thank you for sharing!
I feel so sorry for all the people effected by this ordeal. The problem now is getting everyone out because now everything is toxic with all the dead buried, sewage in the water as well as chemical plants that got destroyed. Billy from PermaPasture Farms just did a podcast about how unsafe this is and how animals are dying from walking through the silt.
If you use hoses with those heaters you definitely should get the filter too. It's the oils from the rubber hose that clogs up the system in the heater, not from the tanks or propane. I went through 2 or 3 heaters until I found out that was what was happening. I still have 2 that stopped working incase I can fix them. Never looked into how. I used a filter with my current one for years and it's working fine still. Name brand or aftermarket hoses do it.

You have skills, knowledge, and the capability to think out of the box which should be pretty useful right now. Some folks are becoming able to move into sheds, campers, tiny houses, and trailers. Some type of skirting would keep these warmer with less effort, gas, and propane. Some folks are in tents and there are ways to live warmer in tents than sleeping directly on the ground. Some of these things could do with temporary, exterior walls to block or deflect the wind and maybe even a hint at a dead air space; pallets on side with minimal more construction than a compost bin are what some of our homeless camps use.
Very good idea to be able to hook the heaters to the 20 pound tanks. The 1 pound tanks simply don't last long enough. I have the same setup here at home.
So many people are wondering if they should cancel their travel plans to visit the NC mtns. I tell them to contact individual counties, as to road conditions, or the NC DOT, or the Dept of Tourism. I do tell them the Blue Ridge Parkway is 100% closed in NC until sometime in 2025. It seems to vary whether you can get a refund back from BNB vs hotels due to the circumstances.
Perhaps the " need" may be more " continuous" supplies like gas/propane that could keep them warm, since so many people have also lost their incomes. Maybe car repairs too, can't imagine driving on some of those roads. Yes, building supplies too.

Which you must fill out to be vetted, they schedule you in and have things in place for your own safety. You might want to contact them.
With all these heaters and wood stoves running and people without power are there smoke and carbon monoxide detectors being handed out? Particularly for those in smaller spaces campers.

2 SIDES yes. But if it is true…… Bri’s brother, her landlord, will not allow Arthur to live with his children and Bri? Would imagine the answer to that is personal, none of my business. Yes. However since they both Bri and Art, have made their lives public via You Tube it changes everything? While i do want to see the children raised by 2 loving parents sometimes separate is better. Sometimes relationships can heal to unite a couple that answer rides with the reason? Please heal for your kids. Make their lives whole and filled with the love of 2 parents.
They have been donating and working with rescuers since this happened. In Addition Rebeccas mom passed away two days ago and their farm is seriously damaged. It a good idea to know what you’re talking a out before judging and thriving shade.... typical conservative “Christian”.. 🤢🤮

The Rhodes family has been feeding people who needed to be fed . The Rhodes Boys also fixed a road so there neighbors could get out . Don't judge people before you know the truth.
@@malina1239their farm is NOT seriously damaged. Their standard of living has changed in only that the dryer doesn’t work. They have been donated a second generator, diesel, a high tunnel, a Skylink, hay, a wood chipper and workers. Their heavy machinery and chainsaws have been almost entirely used on their own property. Yes they rode out on quad bikes to deliver water once and got the T-shirt but actually putting in work to help others hasn’t happened. They’re wanting help to build a bridge and clear brush. They had access to shops from day 1 and their bank account is intact. They lost a footing for the barn, garden tunnel, turkeys and bees. Not really on the same scale of people actually needing help from their neighbours. Art has been working every available hour to help others and it’s incredibly impressive. Rhodes are takers and they have plenty.

The high pressure hoses need to have a filter in line at the heater to prevent loose particles from blocking the heating grid.

Please be aware that the toxicity is killing animals (cadaver dogs) and horses rescued. Now people are dying. We have to share this.

We have been heating with Budd L heaters for years. Supplementing wood heat. They are great.
Earlier on, some areas and communities were sending folks down in rafts and kyacs in different areas to let folks know people existed upstream etc...
