If only Nigar was not too blinded with her love for Ibrahim and sided with Hurrem, she would have ended like Sumbul who was there until the end. She would have reached the status of Daye Hatun or Afife Hatun.
Sided with a cold blooded murderer of babies and old alike who used her own children to gain power and controlled her husband like a puppet? You are basically suggesting it's better to be the right hand of the devil than be against him, well not everyone thinks that, some people actually have a sense of justice and morality, and ibrahim was unjustly killed (atleast in the drama, I don't know about real life)
@@toobaaaapi Every person in this show had their “evil” side, even the most innocent had deep desire. Sometimes it’s better to work with the greater evil to survive. That’s what the harem system is all about. Bitter survival - a golden cage with every prisoner living in luxury.

And no, killing was not required for SURVIVAL in harem as hurrem supporters like to say (they can't say hurrem is not evil so they say well so is everyone else) killing was required to REMAIN IN POWER in harem. So it was never about SURVIVAL but always about POWER. And the level of inhumane nature hurrem showed in the series towards not just her enemies but even her own husband (way to go control him like a puppet to the point he kills his own son from a previous wife) and children (marrying mihrimah to a horrible man her father's age FOR HER BROTHERS, she never loved her son's or her daughter, they were just her pawns to gain power) is not comparable to any other character.

@@ping8966 I was commenting on the series as well, I mentioned it clearly, I would never comment on the real people since we don't know what they did in real life, my views are about serial hurrem and serial ibrahim, not real hurrem and real Ibrahim. However, people supporting the evil characters in the drama is really sad.
I pity nigar a lot..Daye was right about her being just an amusement for ibrahim pasha but she turned a blind eye for love towards him..who with his wife Hatice mistreated her all the time and blamed Hurrem for everything that happened bad to them. I really liked her character in the begining...she was a smart woman
Nigar was blinded by love and choose to have a child from Ibrahim. She may demands higher position by having child and marry a grand vizier, but her choice was wrong
This is true, Nigar was initially one of the smartest women in the series. But her blind love for Ibrahim destroyed her. I wish she found true love. It's so sad

Rustem didn’t reject her - she also didn’t want him I guess. And I believe such an ambitious man like Rustem couldn’t stand the fact she was Ibrahim’s lover previously.

No , I think she deserved it. Date hatun warned her many times about Ibrahim but she didn't listen. Then she betrayed hurrem multiple times. She worked for both sides Hurrem and hatice. She digged her own grave like Ibrahim
Nigar's death is right up there with most sorrowful. In her way, she set herself free after all the manipulation and controlled environment of her time.
If only Nigar had stayed married to Nasuh Effendi, she would have lived a happy life. He had really loved her and cared for her everytime. He would have kept her happy as his wife. It is even seen that only he was upset at her death.
He was a great guy. The only character with quality.
He divorced her though. So she didn’t really get to have a choice.

Of all the fictional characters, Nigar's was one of the most interesting; she played a significant role in adding a flavor and climax to the drama besides the likes of Sumbul and Gul aghas. In fact, Gulfem's character is dimmed out by Nigar's.
She sometimes outshines the main characters lol. She's so good. And the chemistry with Ibrahim is overflowing. Her face so expressive and charismatic but powerful voice.. and without the affair with Ibrahim, the story will be plainly girls fighting in harem and princes coveting the throne
I always liked the smart Nigar. She had such an unfortunate destiny 😭
Early Nigar was so cheerful and smart. Her tale is caution for anyone who gets too close to the royals.

@@irneaa her first husband, who was tasked by Suleiman to dispose of Ibrahim’s body and keep it secret from even him.. he also arranged to get Ibrahim’s brother and father and the little girl out of the country back to where they came from before he was taken as a child and forced to be a slave to these people. She was technically married to Rustem at that time and not quite free to leave him. So she could not be reunited with her daughter. She was spying on Rustem for Hatice as well, the woman who originally took her daughter from her and almost her life. She did have an active affair with her husband after all. She should have just left Rustem. She should have stayed with the original husband as he was the only man in the entire series worth anything character wise. Not only was her child taken from her so many babies terminated and some of their mothers dying all against their will.
Nigar deserved so much better......

If it hadn't been for Nigar, Hurrem wouldn't have been a sultana. Nigar advised her to behave herself and learn so she could better her situation in the harem.
I feel Nigar was very human. She too was a slave so people kept threatening her life, she was trying to navigate the treacherous waters of harem life. She probably said many faithful servants suffer (like María). Then she fell in love with Ibrahim. She shouldn't have but hey, I imagine it's hard to be a young woman and know you will be forever alone because you are a slave/servant.
She made mistakes but hey, she still gave Hurrem the right direction when she was a feral newbie in the harem 😉

According to the laws of that time Hatice had every right to kill all three of them. But she killed neither her nor her child. Instead she found people to care for a girl. And Nigar is not actually all that innocent. She was constantly trying to get closer to Ibrahim and when he was sick and delusional she jumped at the opportunity. She was fully aware of the consequences, she worked at Hatice's house and Hatice trusted her but she still did it. And Ibrahim initially did not have feelings for her but Nigar decided she will win his heart over. So even though it was cruel to tell her that her child was dead but Nigar kinda should've known that this is what happens from having an affair with a married man and married to none other but sultan's sister.

I love Hurrem❤ so much but if not for Nigar’s advice in the early years, Hurrem wouldn’t have been Sulymen’s favorite and later become a great Sultana yet Nigar Kalfa wasn’t faithful to Hurrem though. It’s Sad. Their friendship would’ve been powerful. Oh what a sad ending for our greatest Kalfa❤.
Nasuh is right but can't help I still feel bad for Nigar. If not for Ibrahim, she wouldn't fall this far. See what all of this has done to her? Starting from the knowledge that Nigar was first ally to Hurrem then changed side, when she said that her intention altered from killing someone to suicide and then just having a child in her arms, that's just sad, her mind has gone too far for anyone to reach. The harem fight is merciless.

Ibrahim and Suleiman characters had monologues, I so much wish Nigar had one! Even in her last moments we don't hear her inner voice. Anyway, it seems the thing called "love" in the show is completely obsessive and destructive and the perfect reason to change a character from cunning to senseless. I can't help hating what the writers did to Nigar's character.
Aww I have hopes about the monologue too, I mean, she played a huge part in the whole series so she deserve it. And yes, I hate the downgrade of her character. I wish they made her reunite with Hurrem after her pregnancy incident and not made her married to Rustem Agha where she was insulted to the fullest. 💔

All these actors & actresses are very good looking and the landcscapes look fantastic too ... I loved *Lord of the Rings*trilogy but this historic drama feels a lot more relatable than LOTR while still being a visual treat like LOTR ... Or maybe a better conparison would be with *Game of Thrones* ... What do y'all think?

Nigar was one of my favorite characters until she had an affair with Ibrahim. I think she got pregnant with Ibrahim's baby on purpose.
She's my fave too until her death. She wanted to give Ibrahim a child. Yes, she might have purposely did things to get pregnant but it is still a gift from God.
