- Cutting and polishing Jade is a problem for a lot of us, and it is very frustrating getting that nice beautiful reflections on the finished surface, but it doesn’t have to be that hard to accomplish, as a matter of fact it’s a lot easier than you think.

I noticed the expando drum on the left of your other machine has the expando drum reversed. The slots are in the wrong orientation. Flip the wheel & it will expand more & grab the belt better.

Irene, after google screwed me out of my first channel EG Jewels when they bought RUclips, I couldn’t login or add any videos so after one year trying I decided to create a new channel under my name Elie Ghanime and since I had all the videos saved on my computer, I uploaded all of them into the new channel, still can’t get into the old one even though it was still running with new subscribers daily until one day google contacted me and now I have 2 channel with followers on both, I couldn’t close one down so I decided to keep both to serve both subscribers, I hope that explains it to you 🤗 and thank you for watching.
I have some nephrite jade and was wondering how to approach it. Great video demonstration! Much appreciated. The only I missed that I would have liked was if, in your description you had put the grit sequence of wheels you went through as you polished.

I'm watching this on Eg Jewels... you said this is your old channel, but the video is on this one. Am I on the wrong channel?
Right now I have two channel, because for the last 2 years I couldn’t upload any new videos on the first channel “EG Jewels” so I created the the new channel “Elie Ghanime “ . Now couple of months ago for some unknown reason RUclips let me back in the first channel so now I’m uploading the videos that I couldn’t upload before because I still have a lot of subscribers on that old channel.
@@ElieGhanimeEG thank you for taking the time to explain. If you add your other channel to channels your subbed to, should something like that happen in the future, people will be able to find your 2nd channel that way. Just a suggestion, and to get the "views up" you can have one channel watch playlists on the other channel, with auto play. In that way you could set it up to play, than go to bed, or do other activities.
@@GG-ud1ib thanks for the information, the first channel (old channel) it was running all the time, people can subscribe, watch and send me comments but I couldn’t log in to upload new videos, the second channel (the new channel) I created 2 years ago, now since I can log into both channel I tried to merge them together to combine all subscribers together but RUclips won’t allow doing that, now I have two identical channel to cater to 2 different groups of subscribers, what I was thinking of doing is to have one for lapidary videos and the other one for Metal-smiths videos so I’m not sure if that will help or not, I haven’t decided yet. Thanks again for your help.

SEFOU- YOU RECALL WE HAVE A 6" CABKING WITH ALL DIAMOND WHEELS FROM THE BASIC WHEELS AS ORDERED AND I also Ordered extra wheels that are also Diamond- 8,000, 14,000 and 50,000. Would we need to cut and polish the Jade with Minimal water?
Now we have diamond polishing from DaiShine I had ordered on up to 100,000 is that okay to use for the Jade as well as the Opals and do have also other polishing compound but would have to make sure the Name and Grit.
After you polish with the dry 600 corundum wheel you're done, you can use DiaShine with a brush at the end. Don't over do it.
How much water do you use on the leather disc with the Tin Oxide?
I use cerium oxide for polishing, I put it in the plastic container and then add water I don’t use a specific measurement, just by eye you’ll be able to adjust the consistency of it.

Hi, the reason I have 2 channels is I was locked out of the first one so I created the second one, after about a year later I was able to access the first channel. So my first channel is “Eg Jewels” and the second channel is “Elie Ghanime” I hope that will help!
