We played this all the way through while I was a sophomore in my high school band, and it was phenomenal. It took us five months to learn it, but it was very worth it c:
+Alex Szerzinski i have played the selections from symphony number one and it is spectacular. our school band was made up almost entirely of year nines and tens and sounded abosoultley phenomanal. if you can make this a feature pecie of your major concert. it would be very well recived.
+chenzie Mack I was actually referring to what group made the recording. I hate the sound quality of RUclips and would much rather listen to something with better sound
+Luis Eduardo I absolutely agree; however, are you claiming that the ENTIRE SYMPHONY is light melodies? There are many moments where the "ripped" nature of the bass trombone contributes to the piece. Additionally, my comment was more focused on that individuals capabilities as a horn player. He may have been loud at times, but at least tone quality and fullness of sound did not suffer when doing so!

We played this in college with artist renderings behind us on screen. Right around the time they announced the movies. So fun.
Beautiful! :) We play it in our orchestra.
New favorite song? I think so!
Bass trombone power!!!!!!!
GO TRUMPETS!
I don't know who plays this, but I have a CD with the performance of The Amsterdam Wind Orchestra.
I'd love to know what the group playing in this recording is. If anyone knows and could tell me I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
Who played this? I need to buy it!!!!

Dat bass trombone doe
+Alex Szerzinski I do not agree. In light melodies, bass trombone sounds bad because it has a sound very "ripped" and "heavy"
