Had the privilege to see them live,, they were un-freaking believable!! talent till hell freezes over.. that's why they are still the original super group!!
They paid them not to make the third album because Nirvana had appeared on the scene and the arrival of grunge. They knew the third album wouldn't do well because of the change in the musical landscape.
@@lancerx1759 I'm a firm believer that it was the powers that be at the labels who were largely responsible for trying to kill off this type of music. Sure, there were a number of factors involved, but in the end, the final headshot that took this stuff out of the spotlight definitely came from the suits behind the labels. It could have gone on and been allowed to coexist with the newer music genres but they actively WANTED it gone. It was in many ways the first shot fired in the culture war that has ramped up so dramatically in the last 10-20 years. By memory-holing an entire genre of what was essentially anthemic, patriotic, positive music and replacing it with the nihilism, deconstruction, and negativity of Grunge and Rap, the entire worldview of successive generations was forever altered. This was subversive and political. It didn't just happen by accident.
Hey guys- they played Renegade live as Tommy Shaw( blond) was a member of Styx when he wrote it and it was a hit for Styx; then they brought it out as Damn Yankees….it’s phenomenal- check out Renegade- it’s on my playlists.😎
Great band, but I really wish I could hear the unreleased album where Damon Johnson from Brother Cane replaced Tommy Shaw, who was busy with Styx. Then again, if they all hated it, then, maybe not. LOL!
The record label probably paid them millions to stop because they were too good, which certainly made it easier for less talented groups to make their way
The message this great song delivers should be on the minds of ALL AMERICANS right now and always!!! Uncle Ted and company. Yezzz indeed!
👍👍🤘🤘
With jack blades from night ranger, tommy Shaw from Styx, and Ted sharing the vocals you can’t go wrong
These guys were amazing in concert. You should react to their cover of renegade.

Tommy Shaw is in the upper echelon of vocalists.
This is my anthem! 🎸
Smile when you say DAMN YANKEES !!!🎸🤟
You might recognize Michael Carteleone, drummer of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Also Tommy Shaw of Styx, Jack Blades of Night Ranger, and of course Ted Nugent.
This wasn't first supergroup but to me the best supergroup
It's a shame the record label paid them millions not to do thrid album because scored too many hits on first 2 albums great line up great songs

Glad to see you younger folks get into music like this, they were great why they lasted, check out there song coming of age
Saw these guys live in 1991. Was a great show.
Not the only super group out there, but by far one of the best.
Awesome concert from Denver seen them on video good show 🤘😆🤘🎸🎤🎸🥁
Solo's are great because Ted Nugent is one of the best ever and Tommy Shaw isn't bad either.

Tommy and Jack were the perfect vocal match
During an Olympic year various musicians were asked to come up with patriotic songs for an album. This is what Ted came up with
Uncle Ted can play 🎸
Great Damn Yankees, Great Ted Nugent 🤟
Awesome!
Always loved Shaw but I had no idea he could really sing til I heard high enough
Tommy spent the 15 years before this demonstrating his excellent singing abilities in Styx.
"..I never saw someone come out that hard, that strong before..."
.
Oh, so this is your FIRST time seeing Ted Nugent?
This should be the new American National Anthem
I've got a crush on Suzy.
Cracked me up !!! LOL !!
Underrated all star band
saludos chicos desde Argentina
Congrats on the election!!
Rock on....❤

Did you still feel that way when you knew it was Ted Negent?
