      Both riders are super tough and walked away. @chancewhite the Suzuki rider even kept racing. The rider that got landed on was going for the double but missed a shift right before the face and checked up at the last second. The other rider had no time to react.

      Indeed! I have jumped this double several times and had my first crash off it a few months ago landing in a soft spot with my front wheel slightly turned. My bike practically stopped and I went flying through the air. Thankfully only minor injuries. This jump during a race requires extreme caution! Regardless hope both riders are ok.

  • @bikelifewithalex120

    You can see that the rear tire landed on the fender and seat otherwise it would've been directly on the guy's back completely. Very lucky for the two of them.

  • @terryfonz4603
    @terryfonz4603 3 года назад +1

    Yeah he made the fatal error he literally started over to the right on the face of the jump! He held his line prior to and then when leaving the face moved over a lane. Not smart! Such an unforgiving error

      Pause the video right before the first rider leaves the face of the jump, he's almost directly ahead of the guy on the RMZ. It's very clear the rider on the RMZ was mostly at fault as he had time to realize this guy was in front of him and going far too slow to clear the jump yet he continued to send it.

    • @Ty-no8lj
      @Ty-no8lj 3 года назад +2

      @ 0:26 it looks like the rider that gets landed on grabs a nice chunk of rear brake.
      My only guess is the traction buck he got made him think he would frame case so he grabbed rear to save face.
      Either way, glad to read they both walked away. Incredible after seeing the hits they both took.
