Watching your shopping videos reminds me of shopping for my family of seven. We didn't have a car and had to carry all our goods home. We had to make several trips a week which I hated. The shops only stayed open until 5pm so when I was at work, it was a mad scramble to get the groceries. So glad we can shop on line now and we have a car, although now of course, my family have grown up!

It was just such a big trip; I shopped for about 3 1/2 hours with only a few minutes sitting at one point. Then, of course, all of that loading of the van left me a little breathless when I talked to you all. I was fine. If I'd waited a few minutes before talking I wouldn't have been so out of breath!
Make sure you stay hydrated while shopping. Especially if you feel you're having contractions which can make you feel out of breath. Water, Coconut water, Vitamin water, even Gatorade. I remember taking a Gatorade off the shelf and drank it before buying it out of desperation before. So buy a drink then shop. :)
Having a baby is a natural high for you, You really love it. I can tell you enjoy all the nesting and preparing for the arrival of the new baby. I think being pregnant just gives you more energy, because you really are excited about this baby girl. Im looking forward to her arrival too. I adore your personality. It shines.
Have you ever though about doing your shopping trip in 2 parts? All in the same day. Like go get all the general merchandise, check out and load it in the van. Then go back in and get groceries. It might help with keeping the cart not as heavy and you can get everything you need in one trip. Oh by the way your like super mom. There is no way I could do all that.
It makes me feel more tired to think about "starting over" once I've already checked out once. :) I can fit everything in while I'm shopping, but once it's bagged up it's hard to get it all in the cart. The clothes shopping trips and Christmas shopping trips are usually the only ones that need two carts, though. The other months I can generally manage everything with one cart.
I can see that. I always dread our shopping trips. We go every 2 weeks. I just can't wait to get it over. You do a really good job at making it look easy.

I love to go shopping in the late evenings, especially walmart, not as crowded. (Bonus is usually my little people are enjoying time with my hubby and I can take my time without little feet getting tired.)
I used to always going shopping in the evening for that same reason. I don't do it much anymore, though. It was a bit more awkward doing a video this time because there were lots of employees stocking shelves while I was shopping and they were eyeballing my camera. One of them even asked what I was doing (not in a bad way, just curious.) When I told him, he thought it was a very strange thing to make a RUclips video about. :)

Thank you for doing the awkward part, hope you do know we all appericate it. 4 Wal-Marts here all within 1/2 hr, some silly things to see after 6pm at any one of them lol. I was certainly feeling for you at the end in the van. I was thinking, please just eat your banana and have your nice drink; you and the baby need it. :-) I missed having little ones to buy for once my son and nephews reached a certain age. I only had one younger niece but now there are seven grandnieces and nephews so I am back to buying toys and I love it. I am a frugal gal so I take my time and seek out the clearance items for wonderful and fun stuff. (I try to sneak a bot of education in there once in awhile.) I'm excited for another Mills' Christmas! Oh boy! Next year with the new one! That is going to be especially nice. :-D

Wow 4 hours is a long shopping trip but with so many people to shop for I can see how much thought goes into it! I’m glad you listened to your body a took a break during your shopping. Glad you got a snack for yourself after your long trip! That was nice that someone helped you out to your van! I’m pretty sure they’ve done that for you before! It difference in where you live since I don’t think any of our Walmart employees would do that where I’m from!

Hard to believe that this whole time she had breast cancer. Explains her back hurting and not feeling well. I am a breast cancer survivor. I'm so sorry she didn't catch it in time.😢
It's very sad I'm thinking she thought it had to do it being pregnant she didn't connect it but I don't think they had a family doctor and she didn't say anything to a doctor even if she did I don't know if they would have connected it beingb breast cancer I'm not sure
@Patsy Crocker It started out that that's what they thought she had, right until she died. The doctor called a couple weeks later and told us it had in fact been breast cancer.

This trip was over twice as long as a regular shopping trip (I was in Walmart for 3 1/2 hours!) because of the Christmas shopping. I like shopping by myself; it's kind of my "day off" each month. It's the only time I'm ever alone!
I did; I felt fine by the time I got home, actually, except for tired feet. I got lots of laundry put away and a few other chores done after I got back. I get my best work done late at night. :)
You said in your last Q & A that you want this to be something you would have watched and learned from 15 years ago. I feel like I am 15 years behind you and i enjoy watching you and learning from you. My husband and I are dealing with infertility and we decided to persue embryo adoption. Hopefully 1 year from now we will do our first frozen embryo transfer and I will get pregnant. I hope to have a large family of at least 6 kinds (although i would love to have 10+ kids). We will see, i am turning 25 next month so 10 is becoming less and less likely unless I have the babies back to back. Anyways, is Tom going to do a video of him wrapping your gift again this year? It was fun to watch last year 😊
Janina Van Harberden yea for embryo adoption. We are doing IVF and had considered adopting embryos but managed to get 3 of our own that we will transfer one at a time hopefully! I’m 41 so you are a youngin’ 😊. I think embryo adoption is a wonderful thing!

I didn't like you walking alone into the store and loading your van alone. Anyone could have come up while you weren't watching. Also, while you were filming in the van I hope your doors were locked. People can walk up and get into your vehicle in a second. Please don't go out alone at night to shop. I am saying this because I care about you. I am an older woman in my early sixties. I have one daughter who is 37, one who is 31 and a son who is 40 this month. I live in a smaller South GA. town. I won't go at night though. I know you have to go when it's better for you but Andrea, please watch your surroundings. Take Thomas with you. 😊

I hope you got a good sleep that night! I really enjoy grocery shopping on my own, too. Sometimes I get it delivered but other weeks when I really just feel like going and looking around I'll go on my own 😊

Hard to believe that this whole time she had breast cancer. Explains her back hurting and not feeling well. I am a breast cancer survivor. I'm so sorry she didn't catch it in time.😢
It's very sad I'm thinking she thought it had to do it being pregnant she didn't connect it but I don't think they had a family doctor and she didn't say anything to a doctor even if she did I don't know if they would have connected it beingb breast cancer I'm not sure
I read she had cancer in the biliary duct, which has to do with gallbladder and liver. I’m probable wrong.
@Patsy Crocker It started out that that's what they thought she had, right until she died. The doctor called a couple weeks later and told us it had in fact been breast cancer.

But, Seeing how worn out you were, I wonder if it would be wise for you to bring Thomas along to Walmart with you? It would give him some "Mom time" all to himself and he would be a big help to you. This trip was over twice as long as a regular shopping trip (I was in Walmart for 3 1/2 hours!) because of the Christmas shopping. I like shopping by myself; it's kind of my "day off" each month. It's the only time I'm ever alone!

I did; I felt fine by the time I got home, actually, except for tired feet. I got lots of laundry put away and a few other chores done after I got back. I get my best work done late at night. :)

You said in your last Q & A that you want this to be something you would have watched and learned from 15 years ago. I feel like I am 15 years behind you and i enjoy watching you and learning from you. My husband and I are dealing with infertility and we decided to persue embryo adoption. Hopefully 1 year from now we will do our first frozen embryo transfer and I will get pregnant. I hope to have a large family of at least 6 kinds (although i would love to have 10+ kids). We will see, i am turning 25 next month so 10 is becoming less and less likely unless I have the babies back to back.
Anyways, is Tom going to do a video of him wrapping your gift again this year? It was fun to watch last year 😊
He's been working on it; I'm not sure when he'll have it up, but pretty soon I think. I'm praying for a successful adoption/implantation!
Janina Van Harberden yea for embryo adoption. We are doing IVF and had considered adopting embryos but managed to get 3 of our own that we will transfer one at a time hopefully! I’m 41 so you are a youngin’ 😊. I think embryo adoption is a wonderful thing!
You could always adopt or foster after having as many little ones as you can
warningmayberandom56 yes! That is our hope but unfortunately our province is becoming extremely hostile to Christian parents who wish to foster or adopt 🙁 We will see how it is once we get to that point

I prefer shopping alone if I can; it's about the only time I ever get to be by myself for a bit!

Wow...I'm tired just watching you...but you did great! How long does it take to drive from your house to Wal-Mart? It's one hour to my Wal-Mart.
It's about 30 miles away and takes about 25 minutes to get there.

Ok. I love you and your precious family! 😍 As a mama/grandma I'm going to get on to you (lovingly). I was worried about you going shopping at night alone. I didn't like you walking alone into the store and loading your van alone. Anyone could have come up while you weren't watching. Also, while you were filming in the van I hope your doors were locked. People can walk up and get into your vehicle in a second. Please don't go out alone at night to shop. I am saying this because I care about you. I am an older woman in my early sixties. I have one daughter who is 37, one who is 31 and a son who is 40 this month. I live in a smaller South GA. town. I won't go at night though. I know you have to go when it's better for you but Andrea, please watch your surroundings. Take Thomas with you. 😊
Thankfully, we live in a very safe part of the world. I've never felt concerned shopping at night.
Oh how I know the feeling of being that tired! There is no describing that pure exhaustion. (I have 10) Just know it's ok to rest!!! If you haven't already look into Chlorophyll it made a huge difference for me❤
