Nice set up. You pack like I do, definitely not ultralight! Unless I missed it, one thing I didn’t see was some camp shoes (crocs, sport sandals, flip flops, etc.)
Very good gear list video really enjoy watching other people setups videos
Glad I subscribed to your channel, you have some great vids as well @Bikepacking
Thank you for your gear list. Very helpful.
Stoked you liked it, thank you
Awesome video!…thanks for taking the time and sharing it with us!…best of luck with the GDMBR! and safe travels!…😎
Thanks @dodginglions5163
Right on looks a very well thought out set up! I learned a few new things thank you and I'm wishing you a blast on your GDMBR trip!
Thanks @randallgd
Sick backdrop brother. Thanks for the vid!
Thanks @thewintersteiner, this is on the Adventure Cycling Association's route called the Missoula Spur that goes from Seeley Lake to Missoula.
Best of luck on the Divide, happy trails!
Thanks Mike
Great video. I loved the stem spacer as it is usually a pain point.
Such a clever product by #Rockgeist
Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you
Cool video man, hello from Scotland 🏴
Thanks @milanoreddc5591
Definitely have the creature comforts down. Just never know what to expect. I'll be book marking this tab for future reference.
Thanks @michaellane1316
Thanks for posting , I start 2 July 24 see you out there .
Thanks as well for posting, best of luck on your trip
Very nice setup! I love watching other’s riders setup, I always find some interesting peaces of gear that I might consider use myself, is it to much to ask to list all the items in the video description? cheers from Norway.
You have some great edits, I will attempt to get that list up before I depart.
Riders should know, between Williams fork reservoir (kremmling colorado) and Henderson mill (ute pass Silverthorne) the county will be grading and mag chloride applied starting the 24th about 12 miles of road, Katja got caught in it last year messing up her brakes after going down the pass.
MM 14.5 is cooler road with bike marker, I host here go thru small gate. Spread the word, I'm not internet savvy
Hey, If you haven't tried a Tyre Glider - don't even think about it - buy it! It saves on weight as well. See you on the trail!
Thank you
Thank you very much explaining gear “stuff” two weeks ago I bought THE BIKE for my next year GDMBR! Now I am testing it and all new gear for bikepacking. This will help me dearly! Thanks
That's excellent you got a new bike, hope preparations for you trip go well for your trip.
My friend & I saw you at Ram River Falls
Gear seems dialed in, good luck! Maybe we’ll cross paths on the bitteroot trail!
Thank you, certainly hope to see you on the path
Nice video! Can you tell me what sidestand it is you use directly in the beginning?
Love that sunscreen
Right! Thanks @kk_reads have a great summer.
Best gear list and I have seen them all, thanks bro. Any chance we can get the list?
Thanks @robertbotta6536, would a text list of the items in the description be helpful?
See you on the trail this summer.
Thanks @Logans_Run, certainly hope to see you the trail as well.
I think you forgot to mention what those rad glasses are.
Ps tip keep the garmin in in reach on you not on the bike i came off on a trail ie Ho Chi Minh Vietnam and bike went over the cliff it took me 3 hours to get to the bike to hit the button since then i keep it on me not on the bike
Wild story, thanks for the tip
Hope to meet you this year, dot watcher approximately 1,841 from start, ute pass between kremmling & Silverthorne colorado. Marker & water cooler at road, property to stay ALL riders.
Trail angles rule, thank you sir.
Nicely done. Very informative. What does the bike weigh unloaded and loaded (no food/water, just gear)? Seems like it would be on the heavy side. Thanks.
The bike by itself is only about 22lbs. I haven't weighed it loaded. I am certainly not focused on going super light like many Tour Divide racers do. I was focused on adequate space for food, water, camera gear and appropriate clothing for Northern Alberta.
It's too much weight, he'll be pushing the load and get damn tired of doing it.
Ps another tip always ask people to subscribe at start of video it will help if you ask
Great tip
The seat is very cool
I am very impressed how comfortable the Infinity saddle is and a suspension seat post helps with the lower back. Thanks @bikepacking
@@wax_tracks been using that seat for 6 years love it
Nice video. When are you departing and are you going northbound or southbound?
Thanks @JoeFoxJr, I will be heading Southbound from Jasper, departing June 21st, weather permitting.
I keep my drone in a merit popcorn stem bag and camera in another meritgear popcorn bag that way easy fast access
Thanks for the tip, those look like high quality bags that you can custom order.
@@wax_tracks yes the standard bags they have on there website are smaller to tight of a fit for drone and controlerjust send them message and say you want the bigger bag that you made custom for mark in Vietnam then your stuff will fit no problem
What frame is that?

2020nS-Works Epic Carbon Hardtail
That’s a quality set up, but also a lot of gear, not a minimalist approach.
Certainly not minimalist, specifically focused on bringing camera gear and sufficient battery supply.
He'll be sending a ton of shit home
