A recruitment rally will be held at Chamundi Vihara Stadium, Mysore for 4 days from today for the recruitment of 'Agniveer', the ambitious aspirational project of the Defense Department.
The rally was organized by the Army Recruitment Zone, Bangalore, where the names of male candidates from Rural District, Tumkur, Mandya, Mysore, Bellary, Chamaraja Nagar, Ramanagara, Kodagu, Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Hassan, Chitradurga and Vijayanagar districts were shortlisted after the Common Entrance Test held last April.
Agniveer General Duty, Technical Dept., Clerk, Store Keeper Technical, Agniveer Tradesman Posts are recruiting candidates. 8th and 10th class pass candidates are eligible to attend army recruitment rally.
More than 1,700 aspirants will participate in the rally. "Candidates from 14 districts of the state where the online examination did not come are participating in the army rally. 1,723 people have been selected in the examination and physical fitness medical examinations will be conducted.
For the rally, the department has made preparations in collaboration with Mysore district administration at the Chamundi Vihara Stadium and arrangements are being made at Srinanjaraja Bahadur Chhatra in the city for the accommodation of the candidates from the outer district.
