I used to work for one of Peter Jones operations he's talking about. They provide 90% of phone logistics in the UK. It's very smart going with him, basically straight to all major retailers.
They decide whether to invest primarily on the basis of whether they like the people. If they like the people they seem to overlook that the products are mediocre. Separately, Peter is always very tough at negotiating. He always seems to ask for more than other people and get it. In some ways, he can seem a bit thick sometimes. But I can see why he is so successful in business.
I went to Download Festival a couple of years ago, Leicester Police gave me a neat little anti theft pack with a phone bungee in. I don't know if it was a my bungee though

Been using something similar for my keys for many years. Bought two in Thailand for CAD0.10c each and they tag along with me wherever I go. In fact, as a person with some mobility problems, I hook one end to the handle of a side mirror and put the key into the keyhole, turn on the key and away I go. So the concept is not new but applying it to another product, in this case, a telephone may be worthwhile. 'nuf sed

How would this actually work? You can’t put the band at the top because it blocks the ear piece (can’t make telephone calls). You can’t have it at the bottom because it blocks home button and directional keys (some phones)
