This is my favorite centerpiece to begin the rectangle granny. The color changes made it very easy to see the WIP take shape. Thank you for sharing your talent.
I have now started a group on Facebook called Ophelia Talks Crochet, come and check it out, it is only small but we are all like-minded and very friendly!! Can't wait for you to join! In the mean time, keep watching! Lots of love Anja x

Thank you, Anja! This pattern I will use for an playblanket for my granddaughter🤗 For sure in all shades of pink and soft pink and cream colours😉😄🤩 (she is 7). Greetings from Germany, Katja 🐞🍀💐
i really like the idea of using the granny squares and granny rectangles for cushion covers. That way I can make pillows to match an afghan or blanket that I make Thank you Anja! :D
Your channel name reminds me of a book I read many years old ago about a cat that was transformed int a beautiful green eyed woman! It was such a good book that I never forgot it!

Thank you for your clear instructions on how to make this. Your cushion looks great. I love the colors that you chose. Have a great weekend. Take care, jlee
Beautiful colors, how do you determine how long your starting chain should be? I wound up with a rectangle that was the right width, but too short on the length!! 😞
yes, it is hard to work out how long to do the starting row to then end up with the right size blanket if you are making a blanket for a particular bed!! It worked for the cushion I have not tried going larger just yet!! good luck, maybe adding granny squares to the side might make it wider? xxx
Hi., thank you for another lovely tutorial. Going to do this, always wondered how to do a rectangular granny sq cushion, but please, please give U.K. terminology more, it gets so confusing when you don't give it. Thanks again
I know, I am just going to have to be a dual language terminology channel! LOL, see my next crochet and chat video about this very issue!! Thanks for your comment, I really appreciate it! Keep watching xxx
It would be much easier to follow the corner units' structure if you did not change colors on the corner. Also, when you say "just there," where is the "there"?
I'm sorry, I try to crochet at a reasonable speed for everyone, but you can slow the videos down, if you go to the cog in the bottom right corner of the video, and select speed, you can slow it down to something more suitable to your ability, Anja x
Love all your work you are a true artist everything you do is amazing and beautiful ❤❤
Oh Gina, that's so kind, thank you, Anja x

Hi Anya. My next granny is going to be a rectangle. This is just so pretty. Thank you for all your guidance and time with these tutorials.
Another wonderful idea! Thank you so much 💕
I looked for your previous video on the tutorial on the front of this pillow but I cannot find it. Can you please send me the link? Many thanks
you can't beat a good old fashioned granny stitch, as my grandmother used to say to me ,Anja.😊💞

That’s very pretty love your tutorials and your sweet sense of humor. Had a question is there any specific Stitch multiple? For the the starting.
I always start in the corners
Can you show how to do a one colour retangle granny
What is a "standing double crochet"? Also, how do I continue at the new corner if I don't change colors?
Can you make it soild rectangle; for a baby blanket no holes??
If I kept going would it fit a double bed i mean would it belong and wide enough
yes I think so! Thanks for watching! Anja xxx 🌈💕
Great pattern. Can you make this same pattern in a more solid form. (less holes) would like to make it for Pets to donate to my local Animal Shelter.
Is 21 chains always necessary to start.isnt it a multiple chains
You can start with however many chains you wish, depends how long you want your rectangle to be, Anja x
One of my fav video 😍...hope to win hiyahiya crochet hook set
what if wants in same color
That's your choice. It's perfect. Go for it and show us in the Facebook group. Thank you for watching Aparna Tambe ! Anja xxx 💕🌈
My blanket ended up too long and not wide enough. 😥😩
