I will never get over the weight and feel of everything you do in this game. Just watching the footage of him shooting the ballista I can hear and feel that. GS you feel the crunch and power of each attack. HBG you feel the recoil and explosive power of your shots. This game just makes you feel like a badass and at the same time you can be fully immersed in the lifestyle and peace around the beautiful natural scenery too.
We live in a time where my dude's grandma passed down a game with each generation having a save file on the cartridge. That's awesome.
Monster hunter is a masterpiece

World and iceborne were the peak of game feel in monster hunter. Monsters hit like trucks, your attacks felt heavy and meaningful, everything felt larger than life.
3 ultimate will always have my heart, moga village is what i grew up with, but if i pick up any game to play and lose HOURS in, iceborne is always top pick

Also fat agree. Monster hunter is such a great team building excersise, and expression of personality. My fiance and i completed rise together, it was his first game and we bonded wonderfully over the narwa fight. That was when the game clicked for him and he understood exactly *why* I loved the series so much.

i Still play ICEBORNE with my crew, it's such a timeless classic going back and playing it every now and then hunting the strongest tempered and arch tempered, siege and BLACK dragons is incredible.
This nigga is based af. First the Burt Gummer and El Macho fight, saying Halo 3 has one of the best online modes ever, mad respect to you and your friends.

and the reason i love monster hunter... man i was typing a comment earlier and accidently i pressed f5 which refreshed the page... but oh well i guess thats good for u i mean that shit was like 1000 words lmao
so here is a TLDR version: almost everything these guys mentioned why they love MH i love all of these things, from the ecology and details to the grand fights, from the solo to the 16 player sieges, almost every single detail about MH i love except a few things like the handler, a few monsters, disconnections and oh did i mention the handler?
also i can relate to the last question i also speak about MH so much and bought the master edition version for 3 people thats how much i want them to play it and spoke SOO much about it with someone until he bought it to shut me up and ended up playing it for like 10h and stopped bc he is burnt out from gaming in general... im at the point im scared to speak about MH with my friends who used to play MH and are kind of waiting for the next game because if i speak about it **too much** they might stop liking it like legit i did that with dragon ball to my friend who told me about it... now he doesnt like dragon ball because of me lmao

As cheesy and cliché as it may sound, MHW quite literally changed my life. Got me through a LOT at the time and have met lifelong friends ever since. Can't wait for the next gen MH game.

and not only that but capcom was almost bankrupt when developing it
now imagine next monster hunter, the FIRST monster hunter to be developed while the developers now how big MH is now
(because rise started development way earlier than when world released)
next MH will be something amazing i cant wait to see it. it might be capcom biggest game ever who knows honestly 50ish quality monsters on release seems very possible
This is exactly what I’m excited for. World is my favorite video game ever. Imagine MH6 developed with Capcom knowing how successful World was and putting everything they can into it with the top tier structure of World as their foundation. They can learn from mistakes and experimental bits of iceborne and rise too to perfect the core game
"If you get bored, you could switch weapons" yes I agree. From someone who only uses a bow and has over 1000 hunts with just the bow in world and has never gotten bored.

I'm a hunter that grew in Classic MonHun style games, and still, I think I'd rather go back to more world content, with more ideas added like Iceborn did, rather than going back to classic or hybrid style games like the newer ones...
Agree, ive been playing since tri and world was a paradigm shift. It was immersive and had a *game feel* no other title in the series has really had. Hits felt HEAVY, monsters felt HUGE.
3u will always be my most nostalgic pick, but I'd rather *play* world.

Nah, handler would have been absolutely necessary but imo they handled her (get it?) badly. Now why they made her running into trouble head-on I've got no clue. Someone internally got into fight and wanted to ruin her character? Or was the idea to make her a trouble maker set from the beginning?
Someone has to put that information down of monsters and warn about upcoming big attacks (like in Fatalis fight). Also manage the quests and stuff and perhaps be a human partner in adventures... Or was supposed to do be.
Also why make her eat food all the time? Give her a weapon, she clearly knows her stuff. Perhaps she coul've shouted some of the weak points of the monster in the times of trouble?
Oh well. I just feel like Handler is a wasted potential. Fun video by the way.
About to watch this full video but man I just fought master rank kirin and mannnn that was so hard. I had to switch from longsword to great sword cuz I just couldn’t counter the lightning. This fight was brutal for me but wow that was so satisfying when I finally slayed it. And I ended it was the huge down swing move I’m not a great sword main so I don’t know what it’s called but that was awesome. That right there is what I love. Facing a challenge that seems impossible then overcoming it

Any game you can throw shit at the enemies is a 10/10. And that's why i have 300+ hours in MHW; working my way towards 1k.

Some aren't like that. As someone that watches him and his buddies for years. Some can be bit of a dick, but honestly surprised MrBudder & GrubyMouth weren't in part 6 of the video. Those 2 love playing monster hunter with them. Snik seems to be pist so I can understand that.
I love all monster fights in world/iceborne except 2.

Handler is there to have something to pay money for and play dress-up.

Handler is there in place of your character not having voice lines. It's meh yes but that my best guess.
Otherwise MHW is as close to a perfect game as one could be imo. Not only is the concept so good.
The product is made well. Runs well. Plays well. Each weapon is essentially a different class.
The Handler is far from the worst part about MHW. In fact, I don't even dislike her. I like her bubbly nature and peppy personality. The only reason she's there is because Japanese devs know that Western players tend to like being told exactly what to do and exactly where to go. Look at every game Ubisoft has made. It's full of handholding and spoon feeding and a big lit up arrow telling you exactly where to go. The Handler is a reflection of what the devs thought that western audiences wanted. Since most of our games are full of handholding and babying the player. I have no issues with Handler, I think she's pretty funny at times. The absolute worst part about MHW is the reused and recycled weapon designs. It is honestly inexcusable. Even BRACHYDIOS a monster that's been in the series since MH3U and has ESTABLISHED weapon designs and they still gave them this horrid generic design. I LOVE MHW so so much, but I will also point out it's glaring flaws. Look at MHR's weapon designs. They're all unique and awesome. I genuinely hope they don't skimp out on that in MH 6.
