Vesemir's death hit me like a speeding truck when I played the battle at Kaer Mohren. No game thus far has ever given me such strong feelings, I literally felt exactly as if I was watching the death and funeral of one of my own loved ones from real life. No kidding.
Vesemir's fate made me cry like a baby.... The moment Geralt sees Ciri sitting with him.... My dad died last year and seeing all my own emotions playing over Geralt's face broke me....
Never had a real dad, so having Vesemir there for Geralt really hits me in the heart and I truly understood the Witchers' emotionlessness, as I stood in awe of his burning body irl, Geralt didn't cry, he didn't frown, just the empty black stare but I knew he loved him dearly which makes it even more impactful.
@Imlerith, general of the Wild hunt almost every Witcher I have met while playing the game seemed alot less than filled with emotion, rather they grow more and more empty with time as they're consider freaks by most of society, and the other half the time they're traveling killing monsters. Doesn't seem like something that would help you flourish your emotion or personality after a few hundred years tbh, I mean look at what a few years of military can do to a young man. All the death pain, loneliness, emptiness, it all leads back to the emotionless. Also the process in which they become Witcher as children seems like the perfect setup to create an adult with emotional ineptitude

They are hardened by death suffering and age so they dont emote much but they definitely have them just look at Lambert, he isnt stoic he is filled with anger and anguish and is not afraid to show it.

But he took Geralt and 3 others in by their choice. Geralt was probably about 10 years old or something at the time. Since he's 97yo now I think, it'd make Vesemir still under 200 years old
Vesimir was born around 1050ish since it's said he was around for when Kaer Mohren was built during the second half of the 11th century. So he'd be about 220ish by the time of his death

When a fantasy story, can tug on your heart like this, it’s definitely one of the best. Even my favorite books, the fever series can’t bring up the way I feel about how the Witchers have been treated in this story. I get I reasonably angry when I hear about the siege of the castle and the fact that no new Witchers can be created. 😐
Sounds like the next Witcher game could have Vesemir as the main protagonist? Plenty of potential story, upgradable home base of Kaer Morhen, and flexible for player playstyle as Vesemir is a master.
Hey... so i know its not relevant to this vid... but ive been trying a really fun new build in skyrim. Its a heavy armor tank with a shield in one hand and a conjuration spell in the other. The base damage output is power bashes... with the vokrii mod it gives you a perk that allows for even deadlier bashes... not sure if its the same for ordinator, but vokrii is pretty much a lite version of ordinator made by the same people, so id assume it is... anyway its a really fun build and u should try it in a new build video
If u use fully smithed deadric armor and shield and have double dremora lords its really easy to play on legendary and it is super fun and really badass

I believe it doesn't work like that, weapons get stronger as you level up even if you already have them in your inventory
