In this video we are reviewing Tata Nexon EV - Tata's complete make in India, the complete electric SUV has been launched into Indian markets by last of 2019. Tata Nexon EV is built on a 5 star rated (safety) platform. Tata's nexon was the first vehicle in India to achieve 5 star rating in Global NCAP ratings for safety. The vehicle design is based on Impact 2.0 design philosophy, - "Immediate IMPACT at first sight, Lasting IMPACT over time. Tata Nexon EV has a range of 312 KM per full charge. There are two options for charging, a DC fast charging option, which will charge the vehicle in 60 minutes till 80% and a home based charging unit, which charges the vehicle in 8.5 Hrs till 90%. Tata Nexon EV comes in three variants - XM, XZ+ and XZ+ Lux. There price range from 13.99, 14.99 and 15.99 Lakhs (Ex showroom) respectively. Tata Nexon EV has three colors- Glacier white, Moon light silver and a signature Blue silver. Tata Nexon EV is built on a Ziptrion technology, its a latest Technology developed by Tata for their electric segment. The motor used is a 3 phase permanent magnet synchronous motor which is liquid cooled, and produces a power of 129 PS and a peak torque of 245 Nm. The battery pack is of 30.2 kWh high density Lithium Ion battery pack. The battery and motor is IP67 rated for safety - it is water proof, dust proof. The battery is also certified by AIS 048 (Nail Penetration), Crush Test, Overcharge protection, Shock protection, Short protection.
